We are looking for a hands-on and technically proficient IT Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support and maintain our organization's IT systems, devices, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring system uptime, and maintaining IT and security standards across the organization.
This role is critical to the health of our IT operations and involves day-to-day support of end-user devices, network components, servers, and IT asset lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Device & Hardware Support
Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and servers.
Perform OS and software installations, upgrades, and patch management.
Manage inventory and documentation of all hardware devices.
Network & Connectivity Support
Resolve network-related issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers).
Assist in the configuration and monitoring of firewalls, DHCP, DNS, and other network services.

Infrastructure & System Maintenance

Help with backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes.
IT Security & Compliance
Follow IT security best practices and support implementation of endpoint protection tools, patching, and access control policies.

IT Operations & Asset Management
Maintain accurate records of all IT assets using asset management tools.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux system administration.

Lead Technology Engineering
- An expert in Compute, Networks, Database, Cloud or associated DevOps
- Strong technical expertise with a focus on development and coding
- Good infrastructure and security knowledge

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Education
- IT or similar Bachelor's degree or higher
- Equivalent work experience
Experiences
- At least 8 years total engineering or operational experience.
- At least 3 relevant years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience within large and complex global enterprises defined by high availability, transaction rates, and geographical distribution.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in infrastructure, systems administration, design and engineering, with a cloud computing and DevOps focus
- Current experience with contemporary and innovative solutions
- Understanding of the long-term IT Strategy and ability to work towards that with each project.
- Functional and technical understanding of critical systems and Banking services.
- Strong understanding of the technical risks, security, compliance and audit requirements.
- Maintaining a strategic stance over tactical fixes
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex vendor and supplier relationships
- Proven experience in contributing to and executing technology service development plans or roadmaps
- Advanced understanding of telemetry protocols: syslog, SNMP, gRPC, Netflow, S-flow, SSH polling and templating and others.
- Experience in network administration and expert understanding of modern network concepts and protocols: routing, switching, Wi-Fi, WAN optimization, BGP, OSFP, MP-BGP, EVPN, VLAN, VXLAN, spanning tree.
- Track record of using Python, Ansible or other open-source tools for network automation.
- Expert in Enterprise Sonic SDN-Networks and Legacy Networking.
