  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience specifically working in Server L1
  • Sound knowledge on AD, DHCP,DNS Proxy, Zimbra Mail server ,Symantec Endpoint Server.
  • Should working in ITIL format certification will added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, should be able to speak in English language
  • Job Responsibilities :

  • Sound knowledge in Active directory , User Management, DNS ,DHCP and other windows server management.
  • Sound knowledge in Proxy Management and Zimbra Mail server Management.
  • Ensure perform WSUS Patch Management activity and Symantec Antivirus update Activity.
  • Vender Coordination and problem resolving attitude.
  • Problem solving Capability in IBM, HP and Dell and other vendors Servers, laptop/ desktop Hardware.
  • Providing a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assistance with IT services under scope
  • Acknowledge the tickets, resolve the issue remotely
  • Allocate appropriate category ,Classify the tickets as per Severity and Impact
  • Communicating pertinent information regarding incidents and associated progress to the stake holders on need basis.
  • Allocate the ticket to the respective support groups and track the ticket for closure
  • Recording, tracking, and updating incident ticket information in the service desk tool.
  • Ensure activity details are updated in the tool by the respective support groups.
  • Route calls to the Suppliers in case of issues pertaining to Suppliers agreed in scope.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Server & Infrastructure Management:

    ● Configuration server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
    ● Manage and support physical and virtual server environments (e.g., VMware,
    Hyper-V).
    ● Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware.
    ● Troubleshoot server issues related to hardware, software, and network
    configurations.
    ● Collaborate with L1 support and other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
    Backup, Disaster Recovery & Data Protection:
    ● Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for
    data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
    ● Utilize and manage backup tools such as-
    ■ Veeam Backup & Replication for virtual, physical, and cloud workloads.
    ● Ensure backup integrity and perform regular test restores to validate disaster
    recovery plans.
    ● Maintain documentation of backup configurations, schedules, and recovery
    procedures.

    Security & Compliance:

    ● Implement and maintain security protocols to protect network and server
    infrastructure.

    ● Strong understanding of network protocols, services, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP,
    DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
    ● Experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) and server platforms
    (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
    ● Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
    ● Knowledge of security practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection
    systems).
    ● Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions, including
