Purpose of the role To manage the IT Services department and set the strategic direction, provide support to the banks senior management team, and to manage IT Service risk across the organisation management of IT Services to support the banks operations and representing Technology service performance with senior stakeholders and managing IT service risk across the organisation.
Accountabilities
- Development of strategic direction for IT Services, including the implementation of up-to- date methodologies and processes.
- Management of the IT Services department, including oversight of IT Services colleagues and their performance, implementation of departmental goals and objectives, oversight of department efficiency and effectiveness. .
- Relationship management of IT Services stakeholders, including identifying relevant stakeholders, and maintenance of the quality of external third party services.
- Development and implementation of policies and procedures for IT Services, implementation and adherence of control targets and standards, policies and procedures for IT Services, managing adherence to group SLAs and controls associated with core technology production activities in incident, problem, and change.
- Management of IT Services risk, including identification of potential IT Services risks, development of strategies to mitigate those risks, and maintenance of alignment between the bank s change and compliance functions. .
- Monitoring the financial performance of the IT Services department, including revenue, profitability, and cost control, driving value from any commercial agreements, strong management of any directly controlled costs etc.
- Management of IT Services projects, including driving successful research and related product launches, and deliverance of integrated solutions to clients.
- Effectively monitor and maintain the bank s critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimising disruption to operations.

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for development on our ServiceNow environment. This includes not just the implementation itself, but also designing technical solutions, writing of technical user stories, test & review activities, and creation of technical documentation. As a developer in our team, you will not just work with our internal Analysts, but occasionally also in direct contact with business stakeholders and end-users. Therefore, great communication skills are a must-have. Further, a strong foundation in computer science, a wide range of experience in every aspect of ServiceNow software development, and comprehensive experience with API interfaces are need. Our usage of ServiceNow goes way beyond out of the box capabilities, so a creative and solution-oriented mindset is required, paired with an expert-level technical skillset. As we use multiple modules of ServiceNow, experience in ITSM, CSM, FSM as well as HRSD is considered a strong asset.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
- Translate functional requirements into development stories, with technical documentation and effort estimations, based on provided business requirements
- Develop high quality solutions on the ServiceNow platforms, considering ITIL and ServiceNow best practices
- Design, implement and support the testing of integrations between ServiceNow and other applications
- Create test plans for implemented solutions as required
- Execute code-reviews of fellow developers
- Build close partnerships with our Platform Architect, IT End to End Solution Architecture, Analysts, and Product Owners
- Join weekly calls with Product Owners as the ServiceNow technical expert
- Maintain assigned user stories as per the teams’ delivery process
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and provide effective (Project) Management status updates
- Coordinate escalations to ServiceNow support via ServiceNow HI self-service portal
- Monitor the health and security status of our instances, and take necessary preventive actions
- Support and train less experienced developers, sharing best practices to enable cohesiveness
- Evaluate ServiceNow application against new trends and developments
- Support all our ServiceNow platforms with architecture and developer activities, as well as other tasks

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of proven working experience in a similar position, executing SNOW platform development
- Proven work experience with ServiceNow ITSM. HRSD, CSM and FSM experience is considered as a strong asset.
- Thorough understanding of how API interfaces work (incl. how to secure them), and ability to implement custom interfaces on the ServiceNow platform
- Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control, deployment
- Basic knowledge of the agile development methodology and ITSM processes
- Fluency in English, any other language is considered as an asset

- Work closely with the HWE Engineering Team, HWE Service Owners (EDA, MDA, PCB), Service Partners and Global Concept Owners to plan R&D improvements. Ensure understanding of scope and item content and their implications on the end-to-end processes (including costs). Actively seeks for cost saving measures (automation, improved process/flow, etc.), drive change, motivate participants, communication and commit to stakeholders.
- Balance technical, financial, and interpersonal skills to ensure that all aspects of HWE Platform, HWE Design Environments and customer service are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience and understanding of Hardware Engineering environments and processes.
- Familiarity with HW design and simulation tools and their flows.
- Familiarity with EDA, SoC/FPGA, PCB, MDA and their associated PLM/PDM systems.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Strong problem and analytical skills, the ability to manage complex projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
