- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, plan and execute with little supervision
- In-depth understanding of ITSM processes, technology and methods applicable to platform management
- Define and establish governance and data management policies to ensure the accuracy of the CMDB
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliation processes to maintain CMDB accuracy and compliance across distributed IT environments
- Ensure the ITAM applications track the lifecycle of hardware, software, and other IT assets
Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Operations, with a focus on ServiceNow ITOM solutions
- 5+ years of IT Asset Management experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, and CSDM
- Excellent understanding of IT operations and governance, including ITSM processes
- Experience with ITOM, ITAM and ITSM processes and frameworks
- The position requires a strong understanding of IT Asset Management, IT Operation Management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using ServiceNow products, with an emphasis on liaising between business and technical teams to ensure alignment with business needs
- Previous experience implementing and running SAM & HAM
- Strong communication skills to liaise between business and technical teams
- Ability to gather and transform business needs into actionable requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
