Our Wireline products have been deployed in cutting-edge data centre, AI, BigData and supercomputer applications demanding increasingly high throughputs. We have productized multiple generations of SoCs based on low-IF, zero-IF and RF sampling architectures. These products comprise high performance RF front-end, analog base-band, high speed converters, high speed digital front-ends, sophisticated hardware-software partitioned digital signal processing and signal conditioning algorithms, embedded micro-controllers and high speed interfaces.

Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Signal Integrity Engineer, you will be part of Validation team that is exploring new hardware designs to improve our devices. In this role, you will be responsible for Signal Integrity aspects, compliance, and interoperability of package substrate, PCB, Cable solutions and system-level SI for interfaces like PCIe, DDR, Clocks etc. You will also be responsible for contributing to package and platform design guideline development.
You will work closely with multi-disciplinary groups including Board Design, System Architects, IP developers, and Design Engineering, to verify and deliver complex, high volume SoCs that enable development of world-class hardware devices. In this role, you will be:
- Responsible for defining the design guidelines for internal and external design teams and delivering reference simulation docs for customers
- Performing modeling of package substrate/PCB channels elements in 3D/2D EM simulation tools.
- Working with silicon designers, platform designers, package designers, electrical validation teams, etc. to support interconnect and interface performance requirements.
- Reviewing and evaluating package and board design and providing review feedback.
- Responsible for providing power delivery solutions across platform, package and SOC level
- Definition of worst-case currents and voltage drop scenarios, MIM/decoupling allocation, grid choices and analysis, droop control, SOC ESD compliance, On-die droop detectors, usage of on-die delivery solutions like VR, LDO, and Power gates.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- 10+ years in working on validation of ASIC/SoC products
- High speed serial interface analog building blocks, protocol, specifications and test methods
- Familiarity with Simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, PowerSI, PowerDC, Hyperlynx) to execute SI-PI simulations is required.
- Experience with performing measurement, and correlating measurements to simulations.
- Experience with modeling and simulation of high-speed interface interconnects/channel.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Understanding of Power & signal integrity concepts such as differential impedance, jitter, insertion loss, return loss, termination, etc.
- Scripting experience in any programming language (C++, Python, PERL, MATLAB) to develop automation scripts is a plus.
- Experience in Analog IP Characterization (SerDes, PLL, DDR) is desirable.
- Good understanding of High-Speed Analog/Digital Circuits, VLSI, semiconductor physics

Job Description
**Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled **Signal and Power Integrity Engineer** to support the design, analysis, and validation of high‑speed package and board designs. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in electromagnetics and high‑speed signalling, hands‑on experience with industry‑standard simulation tools, and an ability to collaborate across silicon and systems teams to deliver robust, manufacturable products.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis for high‑speed package, PCB and system level designs.
+ Conduct 2D and 3D EM simulations to evaluate interconnect performance to mitigate crosstalk, impedance, and loss.
+ Analyse and optimize power distribution networks (PDN) including power plane design, decoupling strategies, and IR drop analysis.
+ Execute frequency‑domain and time‑domain simulations for high‑speed interfaces.
+ Perform channel simulations and system‑level analysis using tools such as ADS and HSpice.
+ Support design reviews, layout guidance, and ECO cycles with SI/PI recommendations.
+ Work with validation teams to correlate simulation results with lab measurements and debug signal and power integrity issues.
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
+ Collaborate closely with PCB layout, hardware, packaging, and validation teams.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Strong fundamentals in electromagnetics, transmission lines, and microwave theory.
+ Hands‑on experience with EM simulation tools such as: ANSYS HFSS, SI-Wave, Cadence Power-SI.
+ Experience with circuit analysis and simulation tools: ADS, HSpice. Proficiency in handling and analysing IBIS/Spice models.
+ Experience in power plane modelling and analysis using tools such as Power-SI, Power DC or SI-wave.
+ Working knowledge of package and PCB technologies including stack‑up analysis, DFM, material behaviour etc.
+ Solid understanding of high‑speed signalling in both time and frequency domains.
+ Nice to have: hands‑on experience with lab measurement equipment including VNA, oscilloscopes, TDR and spectrum analysers.
+ Experience in test case development and automation using scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
+ Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
**Experience Level**
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering with **5+ years** of relevant industry experience **or**
+ Master's degree in electrical engineering with **3+ years** of relevant experience.
