Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for someone to lead investigations into incidents and OOS cases, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA, crucial for maintaining product quality and compliance. The role involves reviewing incident reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing mentorship to enhance investigation and reporting capabilities, ultimately fostering a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for leading investigations into level 2 & 3 incidents, valid OOS (Out of specification) cases, and other relevant incidents, collaborating closely with SIT (Special Investigation Team) members, site CFT (Cross-functional Teams), and operating staff to determine root cause, corrective actions (CA), and preventive actions (PA), ensuring unbiased and objective closure with high confidentiality.
• You will review level 1B incidents, provide improvement feedback, and periodically assess level 1A incident trends, highlighting key observations.
• You will review incident-related reports and SAP incident logs, ensuring proper classification and notifying management of findings.
• You will be responsible for using Rubrics template for investigation report writing and provide support to sites during regulatory inspections.
• You will participate in internal/external audits, mentor site investigation team members, and contribute actively to site review meetings.
• You will facilitate the development of site CFT members' investigation and report writing skills, setting up a review and governance mechanism for SIT at the site.
• You will be responsible for presenting periodic updates on key findings, open issues, and learnings to management, fostering strong connections between site leadership, MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) members, and key stakeholders.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to incident investigation and reporting, including familiarity with Rubrics templates for investigation report writing and support during regulatory inspections.

- Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MS in environmental science or engineering, social sciences, planning, geography, or related field.
- 15+ years of consulting experience with environmental and social impact assessment, working substantially with the oil and gas, power, chemicals and infrastructure sectors.
- In-depth understanding of the project finance industry in India and the companies operating in these sectors, including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business. Especially experience within the environmental, sustainability, and infrastructure sectors. Candidate should demonstrate a strong track record of advising on capital projects across India, and possess deep expertise in ESG risk assessment, due diligence, and financial structuring. Familiarity with ERM's client sectors—such as renewables, infrastructure, and diversified energy—is essential, along with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage with senior stakeholders. A background in managing complex transactions and aligning financial strategies with sustainability goals will be highly valued
- Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges and recognize corporate opportunities.
- Demonstrable track record in delivering multi-million-dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
- Experience in running a small/medium-scaled business or team.

This is a Partner-level position in India provides an opportunity to work in one of the most exciting parts of the world, to lead a large team of multidisciplinary experts, work on complex projects in a range of sectors, and support the BU leadership team in expanding business in capital support services.
ERM Practice:
ERM’s Impact Assessment & Planning practice focuses on supporting development of projects in power, infrastructure, chemicals and natural resources. Our goal is always the same: assisting our clients in achieving project success, from planning through construction and operation, while meeting expectations for assessment and management of impacts on environmental, social, health and cultural resources. By helping clients bring these issues into the project planning process early, we seek to help our clients meet environmental/social performance objectives, enable savings in capital and operating costs, and avoid significant approval and other delays.
ERM combines experience with global standards, such as the Equator Principles and International Finance Corporation’s Performance Standards, with a thorough understanding of local regulatory systems and cultural sensitivities. We apply state-of-the-art assessment tools, from GIS to modelling and visualization techniques. We have also developed our own Impact Assessment Standard, which we use to maintain consistency and quality when other standards do not apply in a particular situation.
