This role will work directly with the AD&M engineering teams with the expectation of providing the leadership required to execute an efficient Product design process using DFSS tools and practices, ensuring first time right outputs. This is not a position that will simply maintain the status-quo. Rather it is expected that this individual will bring a progressive, future-focused mindset that will help to lead the AD&M Engineering team toward becoming a best-in-class engineering organization. The position offers a significant opportunity to implement creative solutions and innovative ideas that will improve the efficiency of the entire AD&M engineering workforce and ensure that our Product design process is more efficient and effective.

    The DFSS analyst will be an Expert in using DFSS tools and methodologies and will be able to mentor others in their DFSS journey. This person will be responsible for driving DFSS trainings and certification programs regionally and globally.

    This person will be reporting to the Sr Manager, Engineering Excellence within the Project Management and Engineering Excellence Team. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the deployment of the DFSS in AD&M Engineering function.
    • Define annual training calendar for DFSS training.
    • Work with the Product Engineering managers on resolving problems using DFSS.
    • Mentor DFSS GB candidates for project completion and certification.
    • Be part of Key project reviews as DFSS champion.
    • Work across BU for sharing best practices on DFSS.

    Desired Candidate Profile:

    • 5+ years’ experience in Engineering Product design, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management.
    • Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering degree preferred).
    • Certified Design for Six Sigma Black Belt.
    • Highly effective communicator and influencer, with the necessary communication and presentation skills to inspire and educate audiences in DFSS.
    • Organization savvy, to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.

    Preferred Qualifications: 
    • Experience in project management in complex organizations operating on a global scale preferred.
    • Experience in leading process improvements across organization.

    About Position: Six Sigma Process Transformation Lead

    The Six Sigma Process Transformation Lead will be responsible for leading process improvement

    initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies, focusing on efficiency, quality, and agility. This role will work

    closely with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement

    data-driven solutions that drive significant business value. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of

    experience in process transformation and will be a strong leader, adept at driving change in a dynamic

    environment.

    What You'll Do:

    • Lead and manage Six Sigma process improvement projects from initiation to completion,

    ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

    • Apply Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DMADV, etc.) to analyze, design, and optimize key

    business processes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define process improvement objectives, scope, and metrics.

    • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex process inefficiencies, waste, and quality issues across

    the organization.

    • Lead and mentor a team of Green Belts and Black Belts in executing process improvement

    projects and building a culture of continuous improvement.

    • Prepare and present detailed process analysis reports, dashboards, and metrics to senior

    leadership.

    • Develop and conduct training sessions for team members on Six Sigma principles, tools, and

    best practices.

    • Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to support decision-making and ensure accurate

    measurement of process improvements.

    • Collaborate with business units to drive the successful implementation of changes and ensure

    sustainability of process improvements.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging Six Sigma tools to continuously enhance the

    company’s process transformation capabilities.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field

    (Master’s degree preferred) MBA from IIM, preferred-Top BSchools (IIM & IIT)

    • 7-10 years of experience in process improvement and transformation, with at least 4 years of

    experience leading Six Sigma projects.

    • Six Sigma Black Belt certification required; Lean certification preferred.

    • Strong understanding of Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DMADV, etc.) and advanced data

    analysis tools.

    • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex process

    transformation projects.

    • Expertise in statistical analysis software (Minitab, JMP, etc.) and other process improvement

    tools.

    • Ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner to senior leadership.

    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate

    effectively at all levels of the organization.

    • Experience with change management and driving cultural shifts toward continuous

    improvement.

    **Required Qualifications:**
    + Postgraduate or equivalent qualification

    + Extensive experience of applying lean six sigma / continuous improvement methodologies to drive process improvements
    + Experience in building consumer experience strategy and leveraging digital / technology solutions to drive breakthrough improvements
    + Enterprise-wide deployment leadership experience
    + Experience with Lean Six Sigma implementation and facilitation in roles of increasing leadership responsibility
    + Solid people management skills and Leadership skills
    + Results based leadership style with solid impact and influencing skills
    + Tenacity and energy in leading change towards an effective work environment
