Job Description:We seek a skilled and detail-oriented fabricator to join our team in the UK. As a TIG/MIG Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols, setting up and operating TIG/MIG welding equipment and tools, and ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Setup and operate TIG/MIG welding equipment and tools.
- Weld components as per job requirements.
- Inspect welded surfaces for defects.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Measure and cut materials using hand or power tools.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical welding certification preferred.
- Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding (typically 3+ years).
- Experience with Aluminum, Stainless Steel or structural welding.
- Strong knowledge of various metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety standards and safe welding practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in various positions for extended periods.
