About the Role:

One Key Resources are currently recruiting experienced Multi Skilled Production Operators to join our team. The successful candidates will have a minimum of 18 months of demonstrated coal experience operating the below machinery:

  • Haul Trucks + 2 additional machines below
    • Dozer (D10/D11)
    • Grader (16/24)
    • Loader (988/990) 
    • Scraper (621/637/657)
    • Water Truck (777/785)
    • Excavator (Liebherr 996, CAT 6060, O&K 340, Hitachi 5500-6 or equivalent)

Additional Requirements:

  • SSE signed Training Transcripts
  • Standard 11 or willing to obtain
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Proof of Australian working rights

Our client a multi-award-winning timber flooring business, is currently seeking skilled Labourers and floor installers to join their team. They are suppliers and installers of the very best timber flooring, laminate flooring, vinyl, parquetry, cork, carpet, bamboo, and underlays.

The positions are on-going roles Monday – Friday working all over Sydney. Suitable applicants must have experience operating hand and power tools.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Using hand tools and power tools
  • Assisting trades and carpenters
  • General site cleaning
  • Arranging materials
  • Preparing flooring to be installed
  • Demolition of flooring
  • Installing flooring
  • Loading and unloading materials

To be successful for this role you must possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Must have a White Card
  • Must have valid drivers licence
  • Must have experience with operating hand and power tools
  • Must have previous experience laying and sanding floors
  • Must be physically fit and ok with heavy lifting
  • Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Basic skills, able to count, read and measure
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the tradespeople to assemble, wire, and install electrical switchboards and switch rooms.
  • Assist the tradespeople to conduct testing, fault finding, and repair of electrical equipment.
  • Assist the tradespeople perform electrical terminations, cable glanding, and control wiring.
  • Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Adhere to company and client safety procedures, including JHAs, permits, and risk assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades, contractors, and project teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Current WA Electrical Licence or International equivalent or Proven experience working within a switch room environment 
  • Experience in switchroom and/or switchboard installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in cable terminations, control wiring, and power distribution systems.
  • Experience in commissioning and testing of switchboards and LV systems.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Qualifications:

MBA or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, or equivalent.


Experience:

1) Applicant must have at least 10–12 years of experience in recruitment/ talent acquisition at the corporate level;

2) Prior experience in the philanthropic/ social sector will be an added advantage.
