The Challenge: We've automated 80% of our MD simulation workflow but need an expert to tackle the critical docking automation bottleneck. You'll be the key person who unlocks our entire computational pipeline.
Initial Information:
What You'll Do:
- Design & implement Snakemake workflows for automated protein-ligand docking
- Automate PDB file processing and MOL2 conversion pipelines
- Create robust error handling for GROMACS simulation workflows
- Optimize computational efficiency across cloud and local systems
- Collaborate with our neuroscience team on brain-drug interaction simulations
Required Skills:
- Expert-level Snakemake experience (2+ years preferred)
- Python scripting for bioinformatics workflows
- Molecular dynamics simulation knowledge (GROMACS, AutoDock)
- Experience with PDB/MOL2 file formats and topology generation
- Linux/Unix command line proficiency
