Responsibilities
Social Listening Platform & Industry Knowledge

Designation: Social Media Listening & Analysis Executive About the Role: We are seeking a Social Media Listening & Analysis Executive to monitor, track, and analyze digital conversations for a large-scale political campaign in Punjab. The role will involve using social listening tools to capture real-time online sentiment, interpreting Punjabi-language content, and distilling insights that inform campaign strategy. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with an understanding of political communication, digital behavior, and regional cultural nuances. Years of Experience Required: 3+ years in social media analytics, listening, or digital research Type: Work from Office (Mohali/Chandigarh) Number of Positions open: 2 Language & Cultural Requirement: Ability to read and interpret Punjabi (essential for accurate monitoring and analysis of online content) Strong understanding of Punjabi political and cultural context Proficiency in Hindi and English for reporting and cross-team communication Key Responsibilities Social Media Monitoring & Listening Track conversations, mentions, hashtags, and discussions across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, X/Twitter, etc.) as well as blogs, forums, and news portals. Monitor emerging narratives, influencers, and online sentiment related to political parties, leaders, and voter issues. Flag high-impact or high-risk mentions in real time, supporting campaign responsiveness and issue management. Data Compilation & Analysis Use social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, or equivalent) to collect, clean, and classify online data. Analyze sentiment, share of voice, reach, engagement, and content performance. Contextualize online trends with ground realities to generate politically relevant insights. Insight Generation & Reporting Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports highlighting voter sentiment, trending narratives, misinformation, and opportunities for message amplification. Translate data into simple, actionable insights for campaign strategy, content teams, and communication planners. Benchmark campaign performance against competitors and regional narratives. Research & Strategic Input Support development of actionable briefs for creative and outreach teams based on social listening insights. Collaborate with research and planning teams to ensure integration of online and on-ground intelligence. Recommend proactive interventions to amplify positive narratives and mitigate risks. Operations & Quality Assurance Maintain adherence to SOPs for monitoring, classification, escalation, and reporting. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all outputs. Suggest process improvements, tool optimizations, and reporting enhancements.
