**About the Role**:
Serene Minds is inviting final-year Master’s students in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Applied Psychology to join the **Wellness Buddy Internship Program**. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in therapeutic support, work with real clients, and build foundational skills essential for a successful psychology career.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide emotional support to clients as a “Wellness Buddy” through structured, confidential conversations.
- Engage in live, remote sessions (approx. 2 hours/session, twice a week).
- Assist with client communication and maintain accurate documentation.
- Uphold ethical guidelines in all client interactions.
**Training & Learning Goals**:
- Develop therapist soft skills: empathy, communication, and case formulation.
- Understand Indian ethical standards for psychological practice.
- Get familiar with client documentation and management tools.
- Prepare for future internships, jobs, or freelance counseling roles.
**Eligibility Criteria**:
- Final-year student in a Master’s program (Clinical, Counseling, or Applied Psychology).
- Strong interest in gaining hands-on experience with clients.
- Willingness to work on pro bono cases with professionalism and empathy.
- Availability for the full 4-week internship program.
**Internship Details**:
- **Mode**: Online (Zoom / MS Teams)
- **Duration**: 4 weeks | 8 sessions | 2 per week | ~2 hours/session
- **Batch Size**: 3 small batches with 10 students each for deeper interaction
- **Stipend**: Unpaid (Pro bono work for real client experience)
