We deliver four core services which include general health, mental health support, vocational services, and alcohol and other drug services . Due to high demand, we are looking for highly motivated Registered Psychologists or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers for an immediate start to provide Medicare funded clinical services to young people. As a practitioner with headspace Bankstown , you will be running your own client caseload in collaboration with a well-resourced team, so tell us your preferred hours and we will fill your calendar!

About You

About the Role
As a highly valued member of the team you will be making a major contribution to improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
- Commitment to achieving therapeutic goals using effective assessment, treatment planning, treatment strategies.
- Participation in clinical decisions about treatment planning, assessment, risk management and working with other services.
- Client related work – e.g. GP letters/Reports.
- Participate in regular multi-disciplinary case review, supervision and peer supervision.
- Work within a supportive team environment.
- Liaise with external providers as needed e.g. GPs, Schools.
Your Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Psychologist OR Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA, OR Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with AASW.
- Eligibility to provide services under Medicare and be willing to Bulk Bill;
- Demonstrated clinical experience with young people or within mental health in diverse settings including (e.g. bio-psychosocial assessments, risk assessments and providing focused psychological intervention).
- Working with Children's Check and Police Check
- Have an ABN or be able to obtain one
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster) prior to commencement.
