**We are looking for e** **xperienced ADAS engineer/architect for video pipeline in automotive product line (camera, deserializer, ISP, video input path, imaging accelerators)**
You will develop highly optimized software architecture for Renesas R-Car Gen5 series devices. Strong **working knowledge of camera drivers, ISP, serializer, deserializer, MIPI-CSI2 interface, imaging hardware** accelerators for multi-core heterogenous SoCs is a key requirement. You will collect and discuss requirements for the next-generation ADAS products that comprise tools, software, and hardware. You will utilize existing SDK and control tool for video input applications and requirement definition. You will further grow the scope of SDK and tools for use in generic ADAS application contexts. Your main responsibilities will be in the following areas:
+ Develop and define advanced ADAS reference application (Front camera, Surround View and RGB-IR, Vision computing, Image quality enhancement w/ ISP, display output, and HW accelerator) use cases leveraging R-Car SoC and software infrastructure.
+ Collaborate with sales, automotive product line marketing and applications engineers to generate winning reference software & application demos needed to establish clear dominance through best-in-class overall whole product.
+ Enhance capabilities by extending the support of reference applications, HW accelerator use cases, and other connectivity applications
+ Conduct benchmarks of industry standard suites, emphasizing the competitiveness of our current and future platforms.
+ Provide support to our customers to accelerate development of customer solutions and to create easy to use collateral such as application notes and reference solutions.
+ Develop and define scalable SW architecture for video input path that eases its use for customers considering relevant hardware features
+ Work closely with hardware and software product development organizations to validate the performance and ease of use of SoC products and optimize various aspects including computation, operational, and power.
+ Bring up video input pipeline on R-Car hardware platforms and with model/simulators.
+ Pre-developing video software features in collaboration with multiple teams, debug and fix related bugs
+ Bring up hardware accelerators, AI and ISP on R-Car hardware platforms and with model/simulator - optimize and improve performance of the software product
+ Prototyping video input processing features for future products and design
+ Pre-developing computer vision software features with focus on video input processing in collaboration with multiple teams, debug and fix related bugs.
+ Define and execute performance evaluations with focus on standard and advanced KPIs
+ Discuss requirements for future ADAS products considering FUSA and security i.e., tools, software and hardware with the respective system architecture, FUSA, security, and development teams
+ Collaborate with external sensor module as well as deserializer providers
+ Support Renesas automotive customers
+ Prepare marketing material and conduct workshops to train field teams and customers on Renesas ADAS solutions support the development of cutting edge demos and reference designs
+ Enhance video pipeline capabilities by leading strategy sessions with our technology partners.
+ Providing support to field teams as needed to generate opportunities and facilitate design-ins.
+ Stay abreast of latest technology trends in the field of computer vision, AI, General Purpose Computing, middleware; develop recommendations and competitive feature set to keep the hardware and software product at the cutting edge and best-in-class through continuous improvement.
+ Support Sr. Director of automotive product line and interact with other group managers to ensure successful deployment of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Overall:
- 10+ years industry experience in embedded software development with a proven track record in translating complex use cases requirements into design, system specifications, standards, and software solutions. Focus shall be on video input pipeline developments.
- Ability to work independently with strong motivation towards meeting deadlines with efficiency and focus
- System Knowledge:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of computer vision pipeline, cameras, ISP, SERDES, MIPI-CSI2 interface, hardware accelerators and ISP Tuning.
- Proven experience with automotive camera sensors, HDR pipeline, color spaces & formats
- Basic knowledge about image tuning
- Strong hands-on knowledge of automotive operating systems. Strong knowledge of Linux required with knowledge of at least one other automotive operation systems expected (QNX, Android, AUTOSAR, etc.)
- Architecture
- System architecture experience for heterogeneous / multi-core embedded SoC computing platforms consisting of cameras, deserializer, video input, ISP, general compute, specialized AI hardware, and image processing accelerators.
- Familiarity with automotive safety concepts including ISO26262 and Freedom From Interference (FFI) esp for video
- Development
- Embedded system software development experience including low level firmware, kernel, and user space components on an SoC product comparable to the Renesas R-Car family
- Ability to develop and debug on both real hardware as well as simulation and emulation environments
- Debug:
- Ability to debug complex system level use cases involving hardware and software elements such as bandwidth/QoS knobs.
- Software debugging including CLI, PCB, and application level debug techniques
- Ability to debug high speed communication interfaces including HW/SW co-debug
- Collaboration:
- Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, architecture, customer, partners, and other groups to create best in class reference solutions, solve problems, and enable customer success

Job Description
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the design and implementation of the enterprise-wide business application and integration approach, ensuring the it aligns with the IT Strategy and business needs. They will apply their knowledge of good architecture practice, architecture documentation and application platform technologies to comprehensively capture GE Digital's current state application architecture and
oversee target state design and implementation. They will participate in enterprise transformation, overseeing the delivery of agreed business priority outcomes and value across major transformational programmes, act as a design authority and provide an assurance role, ensuring that all architecture activities and deliverables (in-house and outsourced) are produced to a high quality and are consistent with existing GE Digital's standards, policies and strategies.
**Job Description**
In this role, You Will:
- Improving the current application architecture, optimising business operations, and setting the direction and approach for integrating business applications.
- Suggesting ideas to reduce costs and improve architecture to IT and business leadership.
- Providing business and technical architecture guidance.
- Producing high-quality Enterprise Architecture artefacts and supporting material.
- Influencing and collaborating with others, especially business leaders, solution
architects and technical experts.
- Building Executive relationships - ability to discuss application architecture from an enterprise 'big picture' perspective combined with ability to build trust, credibility and strong partnerships with business leaders.
- Able to facilitate executive sessions and executive meetings
- Develop quality deliverables and presentations for respective stakeholders from Executive team down.
- Participates in governance forums in order to assure and approve new and changed architectural and technology solutions
- Ensures that new architectures align to GE Digital's standards; create a new standard or progress a change to the standard where necessary.
- Regularly and pro-actively identifies risks and issues and ensures appropriate steps to mitigate risks are in place and issues are remediated on a timely basis
- Ensures that the Enterprise Architecture function operates to GE Digital's governance, risk, compliance frameworks, through fit-for-purpose processes, practices, and accountability, and that the business remains within agreed risk appetite
- Ensures that Enterprise Architecture function maintains appropriate information security, resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements within the respective frameworks and standards
- Cataloguing, developing, coordinating, communicating and maintaining, overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the organisation's business and technology activities.
- Determine and implement build versus buy strategies, mentor solution architects, and create views of the overall business strategy.
- Experience of providing technical leadership, working as an architect on complex projects and programmes.
- Skills in designing complex architecture solutions in an inclusive manner
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to influence others (business stakeholders, technical architects, software developers, third party suppliers), to reconcile technical and business considerations to arrive at the optimal solution.
- Ability to translate business strategies into technical solutions and identify business transformation opportunities.
- Enterprise Architecture skills to see the "big picture" and identify opportunities to join up systems, technologies, and business capabilities to create better economies of scale and scope.
- Leading the development of complex application architectures in modern compute paradigms i.e. cloud, microservices etc.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
+ 10+ years of hands-on architecting experience in an ecosystem having Marketo, Salesforce, Flexera, Oracle CPQ, Fusion & RMCS etc. as major pillars.
+ Experience with SaaS to SaaS integration and middleware such as Boomi, OIC etc.
+ 5+ Years of end-to-end enterprise architecting experience, preferably in a software product company.
+ 3+ years of experience in driving large enterprise level Annual Recurring Revenue based implementation from inception to execution would be a major plus.
