About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong expertise in Atlassian tools , particularly Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket . In this role, you will design, customize, and optimize Jira workflows, automation, and integrations to support our Agile and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira Software , Jira Service Management , Confluence , and Bitbucket .
• Create and manage projects, workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, permissions, and notification schemes .
• Build dashboards, reports, and SLA metrics for management and operational teams.
• Support Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change) processes.
• Provide end-user support, training, and documentation .
• Use Groovy scripting with ScriptRunner to create custom validators, listeners, and post functions .
• Develop and manage REST API integrations with third-party tools.
• Perform Jira/Confluence upgrades , plugin compatibility checks, and migrations (Server → Data Center / Cloud).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator , Atlassian Engineer , or Jira Developer .
• Hands-on experience with ScriptRunner , Groovy scripting , and Jira REST APIs .
• Strong understanding of Jira workflows, permissions, and automation rules .
• Experience in Jira upgrades , migrations , and plugin management .
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITSM frameworks (ITIL preferred) .
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bitbucket , Bamboo , or other Atlassian tools .
• Knowledge of SQL and Linux-based environments .

• Develop custom risk and compliance dashboards, reports, and performance indicators.

• Collaborate with Security, Audit, and Business teams to translate requirements into platform configurations.

Work with Business Stakeholders on a support activities related to Incentive Compensation for US Sales and Commercial Operations. This role involves delivering monthly/quarterly results to Sales and Support Incentive Compensation team.
