In this role, you will drive the design, delivery, and operational excellence of systems powering Oracle's Semantic Index (SI) product. You will lead a high-performing engineering team and ensure key initiatives-such as SI instance creation, data bootstrapping automation, and scalable customer onboarding-are executed efficiently, securely, and with high quality. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned technical leader passionate about automation and delivering business value at scale.Qualifications: * BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* At least 10 years' experience in engineering management, with a record of leading large-scale, cloud-based platform initiatives
* Expertise in distributed systems, automation, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS, OHAI, or similar)
* Proven experience in driving strategic engineering programs and managing high-performing teams
* Demonstrated leadership in building automated, scalable back-end and/or data systems
* Excellent decision-making and cross-team collaboration skills
* Experience with customer onboarding, control planes, observability, and resource automation is highly desirableAs Director, you will provide end-to-end leadership for teams responsible for automating and scaling SI instance provisioning and data onboarding, to dramatically increase customer onboarding efficiency and minimize manual processes.
