This role focuses on the development and implementation of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems using real time machines platforms for embedded systems. The successful candidate will lead validation efforts, design new testing structures, and coordinate technician activities while collaborating with a global engineering team. Candidate should have a Knowledge of ISO standards related to software validation and functional safety. He shroud have experience in diagnostic and testing using CAnalyzer, CANoe, CAPL. He should have experience with real time simulation and data acquisition systems. Candidate with experience in agricultural machinery or off-highway vehicle systems is preferred.

**What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)**
Software Quality Lead/Manager will be part of Connectivity organization and will be responsible to:
+ Provide leadership support in building and growing the Quality mindset across the Organization
+ Thorough understanding of product/process quality domain - Quality Planning & improvement, Control, developing quality framework aligning to Business priorities.
+ Should be a Team player having excellent communication skills, Problem solving skills, Analytical skills, interpersonal / facilitation skills
+ Ability to work in ambiguity and diverse Teams & Groups to derive value out of projects and priorities set by the executive leadership - need to conduct expectation setting & quality improvement exercise with each Teams & Groups
+ Should have hands-on experience in driving industry accepted best practices related to Quality mindfulness events, Process Improvement - Code review practices, Defect Prevention, Unit / Developer Test, Process Automation / Quality Dashboards etc.
+ Hands-on experience in defining Metrics, Data collection, Validation, Analysis, Org level Baselining etc. Reporting Metrics analysis results - Insights & area of improvement to management in identifying loopholes and driving Process & Quality improvement
+ Enforce Process, KPIs & Software Engineering tools adoption & usage practices across the projects
+ Hands-on experience/knowledge on various Software Engineering Tools used in Software Development & Project Management and attitude to learn existing tools and explore new tools to improve product quality.
+ Good knowledge and experience of ASPICE/ISO26262/ISO21434 or equivalent Quality standards.
+ Experience in auditing the project using Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO21434 to ensure that the work products and development process meet the quality goals
+ Coordinating internal audits and external audits as and when required
+ Experience in supporting customers/OEMs on Quality, Safety, Cybersecurity discussions through RFQ/RFI.
**What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications)**
+ Post Graduate/Graduate in Engineering (Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field).
+ 8+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
+ ISO 26262 Functional Safety Internal Auditor, Automotive SPICE Internal Auditor.
+ Collaborative approach and strong problem-solving skills to work with leaders across organizational and technical domains.
+ Excellent software engineering skills and tools experience.
+ Significant experience influencing development teams and providing technical leadership.
**Preferred Skills/ Experience**
+ 8-12 years of experience in the field of SW Quality Assurance
+ Experience in functional safety standards like ISO 26262/ IEC 61508
+ Knowledge on ISO21434.

He/She identifies problems, generates alternatives, and recommends solutions within defined processes. This position documents the progress of assigned tasks to ensure objectives are met. He/She collaborates effectively with QA team members, application developers, software vendors, consultants, user communities, and test environment technical support staff in the execution of testing procedures. This position supports testing efforts of small to medium complexity. The Software Quality Engineer is knowledgeable of the key processes and technology within the business functions he/she supports.
**Primary Skills**
Experience in testing practices, testing levels, test plans and defect management.
Experience with testing automation frameworks, such as NUnit, Selenium (with C#) and Rest Assured
Experience working within Agile development teams
**Secondary Skills**
Familiarity in using JSON, REST API and testing APIs using Postman.
Familiarity with security standards and security validation tools
Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud-based deployments, and pipeline validation tools
