Responsibilities:
Clinical Expertise:
Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, embolization, stent placement, biopsies, and drainage procedures.Utilize fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to guide procedures, ensuring precision and accuracy.Interpret imaging studies to diagnose conditions and plan appropriate interventions.Patient-Centric Approach:
Evaluate and assess patients to determine the most suitable interventional radiology procedures.Effectively communicate with patients, explaining procedures, associated risks, and benefits in a clear and empathetic manner.Monitor patient vital signs and response during and after procedures.Collaborative Care:
Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, surgeons, and referring physicians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.Actively participate in multidisciplinary conferences to discuss complex cases and formulate effective treatment plans.Quality Assurance:
Adhere rigorously to established protocols and guidelines for interventional radiology procedures.Maintain precise and comprehensive medical records, documenting procedures, patient progress, and outcomes.Continual Learning and Education:
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in interventional radiology through continuous learning and active participation in relevant conferences and workshops.Contribute significantly to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.RequirementsEducational Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution.Board certification in Radiology and Interventional Radiology.Procedural Expertise:
Proven experience in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, embolization, stent placement, biopsies, and drainage procedures.Imaging Technology Proficiency:
Proficient in utilizing fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to guide procedures and ensure precision.Diagnostic Skills:
