This position requires a comprehensive skill set in acoustic properties, audio installations, sound calibration, and DCI projector technologies to ensure exceptional theater performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities: Theater Design Mastery: Understand and enhance theater design elements to optimize visual and audio experiences.

CAD Drawings Management: Interpret, modify, and manage CAD drawings with precision to align with design specifications.

Acoustics Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of acoustics for optimal sound design, including managing reflections, reverberation, and clarity.

Audio Equipment Configuration: Configure and integrate advanced audio equipment, ensuring peak operational performance.

Audio Installation & Calibration: Perform accurate installations and fine-tune sound systems, applying EQ and calibration techniques to achieve high-quality audio output.

DCI Projectors Proficiency: Handle installation and calibration of DCI-compliant projectors for superior visual displays.

Qualifications: Proven experience in theater design and audio-visual integration.

Strong CAD software proficiency for design modifications.

Advanced understanding of acoustics and audio system configurations.

• Responsible to drive the HW architecture and component selection/decision for the next generation automotive audio system.
• Specialized in selecting and recommending next generation semiconductor solution for automotive audio, circuit/PCB designing and developing the electronic components and systems that power car audio systems, ensuring high-quality sound and seamless integration with vehicle technology.
• This role involves working closely with vehicle Architecture/system Design, safety engineer & Buyer/purchasing ensuring that the chosen components meet the performance, reliability, and cost requirements of the applications.
• Technical expertise in recommending and proposing the right electronic audio components not limited to Audio amplifiers, Microphone interface/Audio ADC, Audio DSP, Audio power circuitry/PMIC, Speaker interface, Digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc), working knowledge on ANC (Active noise cancellation) and RNC (Road noise cancellation) design.
• Familiarity with relevant automotive safety and quality standards, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
• Experience with acoustic measurement instruments, Familiar with audio data acquisition, analysis systems and Audio Precision.
• Work proactively with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology road map.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive area (OEM, TIER1, TIER2)
• Experience in In-vehicle infotainment system, Audio system, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems and ECU design.
• Understanding and knowledge of Board software/Bring up software, Audio DSP and MCUs.
• Knowledge of safety standards including ISO 26262, Euro NAP, and Security regulations would be a plus.

About The Job

You will be part of the team with charter to develop new Audio converters catering to PE, Automotive and Industrial market segment. Team has complete charter of end to end development of Audio ADCs, DACs, Codecs including devices with Class D integration. These devices are highly integrated mixed signal devices with on chip digital signal processing capabilities

As part of this role you will get opportunity to interface with various engineering teams within the product line including digital design, layout, firmware, verification, validation, test, systems, applications and marketing to successfully execute new products from concept to volume production and subsequent support.

You will be a core member in a design team driving flawless execution, while finding innovative design architecture and solutions to customers’ problems through “out of the box thinking” to deliver highly differentiated products.

In this role, responsibilities may include:

• Lead/Manage an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing
• Direct, guide and participate in activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuits for a variety of applications
• Make assignments for team members, make architectural decisions/process selection etc, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project
• Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation, to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives
• Work with and provide guidance to layout engineers and monitors the progress of IC layout
• Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pre-PG phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before PG
• Work with systems engineers, application engineers and marketing to prepare product briefs, datasheets, application notes and assisting in the definition of the product to meet customer needs as well as contributing to roadmap formulation and new concept creation
• Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
• Interface and lead discussions with the customer and/or TI field sales/field applications teams to understand customer designs, problems and support as required
• Actively participate in hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the organization and growth of the individuals into leader
• Participate and drive silicon debug, provide design support for customer issues/returns

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• > 8 Years of Analog Design experience
• Chip Lead, Analog Design lead or equivalent experience in Mixed Signal IC
• > 4 Years of hands on experience in High performance Sigma Delta ADC / DAC / PLL / Op-amp
• Experience of leading full project (Chip lead) Or Analog design lead
• Strong understanding of signal processing, Analog design principles, including low-noise, low-distortion, and high-efficiency circuits
• Proven record of nurturing talent
