Job Description

As a Specialist - Sales, you will be responsible for managing activities and processes to ensure the Sales organization runs effectively, efficiently and in support of business objectives. You will work with assigned Outside Sales Representatives, Inside Sales and support functions, suppliers, centers of excellence (COE), and Marketing to ensure a steady flow of meaningful sales interactions, resulting in an expansion of outside sales capacity. + Participates in regularly scheduled meetings to measure progress of set objectives.
+ May be designated as a subject-matter expert (SME) for critical customer(s).

**Qualifications:**

    Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Planning & Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company objectives.
  • Coordinate with regional or segment sales teams to consolidate and validate forecasts.
  • Work closely with key customer accounts to understand forecast fluctuations and support long-term demand visibility.

    Operational Planning & Execution

  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to align capacity with demand.
  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure demand-supply alignment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work to reduce excess or obsolete stock.
  • Forecasting & Analytics

  • Lead monthly/weekly demand forecasting reviews.
  • Track forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide regular reports and dashboards on sales performance, variances, and capacity utilization.
  • Cross-functional Coordination

  • Act as the key liaison between sales, production, logistics, and finance departments.
  • Facilitate communication and ensure timely decision-making across departments.
  • Customer & Order Management

  • Oversee order fulfillment and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Handle escalations related to order delays, shortages, or capacity constraints.
  • Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team involved in S&OP activities.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to enhance performance and collaboration.
  • Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. MBA is added advantage.
  • Experience: 7–10 years in sales operations, supply chain, or production planning roles, with managerial experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in ERP systems and forecasting tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
