**Required Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.
12+ years of experience in software engineering or quality engineering roles.
5+ years of experience managing technical teams, preferably in a global and/or matrixed organization.
Demonstrated success managing remote or distributed teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with an ability to operate effectively across time zones.
Experience working with US-based leadership and cross-continental team structures.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and modern SDLC practices.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Prior experience supporting SaaS or enterprise platform delivery.
Exposure to DevOps practices and/or cloud-native development environments.
Exposure to a wide variety of software engineering technologies (e.g. java, C#, Angular, python)
Experience in a technology services or certification/licensure organization is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of a large organization from SVPs to individual engineers, Development, product managers, and program managers.
Personal experience having launched or supported a complex program or project with infrastructure and software components.
A record of building strong collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries (e.g. Cloud Services, Development, product, support teams).
Proven capacity to build and sustain a high-performing software engineering team operating at various scales and business demands.
A track record in building the next generation of software engineers in your team or peers team, organization.
Personal experience managing and leading teams and or different cultures.
Methodical approaches to troubleshooting and solving complex technical problems, reverse engineering existing applications.
What You Need to Have
A BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
**Technical Skills**
- Knowledge of Oracle Analytics product, OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Server, BI Publisher or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) preferred
- Defining and documenting technical architecture of complex and highly scalable products
- Experience developing & operating cloud services or large distributed applications in production
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS, Azure, GCP compute, storage, and network operational experience.
- Programming and scripting languages (Python, bash, Java Script - additional experience with PHP, Groovy, Java, and/or Go is a plus)
- Linux/Unix system administration including system level knowledge of Linux on OCI Gen 2, creating and executing scripts
- Using CI/CD scripting tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform or Chef
- Experience in Cloud Native application development using Containers and orchestration (Kubernetes) independently scalable microservices
- Oracle database, Oracle Autonomous DB, MySQL , SQL tuning and DBA knowledge a plus
- Experience in REST API design and development using Java technologies.
- Issue tracking and collaboration (Jira and Confluence).
- Producing documentation in support of developed work (KBs, run books, help guides)
