Responsibilities:
- Receive, prioritize, and respond to emergency calls promptly and efficiently using established protocols.
- Gather critical information from callers regarding the nature of the emergency, location, and condition of individuals involved.
- Dispatch appropriate emergency units and personnel based on the incident type and severity.
- Monitor the status and location of all dispatched units, providing necessary updates and instructions.
- Maintain clear and accurate communication logs and incident reports.
- Coordinate with other emergency services, agencies, and hospitals to ensure seamless response.
- Provide pre-arrival instructions and guidance to callers and victims when necessary.
- Operate complex radio communication systems and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software.
- Ensure compliance with all departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in emergency medical dispatch (EMD) or related fields are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in emergency dispatch, 911 call-taking, or a similar high-volume communication center environment.
- Proficiency in operating radio communication equipment and CAD systems.
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Mysuru region and surrounding areas.
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities.
- Basic understanding of first aid and emergency medical procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Checking of gong bell/ diesel pump engine oil condition/ level & diesel engine battery condition.

Job Description:
- Monitor the readiness of all Life Safety Systems in the hospital on an ongoing basis
- Coordinate with the Engineering department for rectification action in case of un-serviceability of Life Safety Systems
- Perform periodic inspections of buildings, structures and installations in coordination with Engineering Dept. & Licensed Agency for compliance of fire safety norms and escalate violations
