The Role:
Join us as a vital part of our team, designing and implementing rehab programs. You&aposll conduct live sessions, document cases, collaborate closely with physiotherapists and contribute to end-stage Return-to-Play (RTP) strategies for athletes. This role offers the chance to learn advanced rehab techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct live client sessions (5:30am-8:30am OR 7pm-10pm IST, occasionally other times).
Perform detailed case documentation and track progress.
Collaborate effectively within our integrated team.
Engage in continuous learning of advanced rehab techniques.
Contribute to administrative tasks.
Assist with end-stage RTP programming.

Certification in Strength & Conditioning (e.g., ASCA Level 2, CSCS) or Degree in Exercise & Sports Science

NSCA-CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist)

- Design and implement sport-specific strength and conditioning programs for individual athletes and teams.
- Develop training plans for pre-season, in-season, and off-season periods.
- Conduct assessments of fitness components: strength, power, speed, agility, endurance, mobility, etc.
- Supervise resistance training, plyometrics, speed training, aerobic conditioning, and mobility work across Sports at Somaiya Sports Academy.
- Integrate recovery strategies such as foam rolling, stretching, ice baths, and sleep optimization.
- Identify movement deficiencies and implement corrective exercise protocols.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists to create return-to-play plans and reconditioning routines.
- Use fitness testing data (e.g., Yo-Yo, 1RM, Vertical Jump) to track progress.
- Maintain athlete performance logs and use software for data analysis (e.g., LifeFitness, KInvent, Excel) available at the Sports Peformane Lab at Somaiya Sports Academy.
- Provide regular feedback to athletes and coaches.
Key Skills
Master’s degree in Sports Science or related field.
CPR and First Aid certification.
