Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for **Lead Structural Analysis Engineer** ( **Service Engineering** ) to support **Airframe Service Engineering** Capability at Boeing India, Bangalore. This position will focus on providing 24/7 support to Boeing commercial airplane customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to work complex technical challenges in support of safety operation and return to service.

**Position Responsibilities** **:**
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
+ Responsible for performing structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems while working as an integrated team
+ Responsible to collaborate with Service Engineers to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions on In-Service issues for Airframe and other Mechanical systems.
+ Performs detailed structural analysis (static strength, durability/fatigue and damage tolerance) to determine structural integrity (margins of safety), using classical techniques and Boeing tools.

**Role Summary:**
+ The Engineer Applied Structural Mechanical Analysis performs structural and rotor dynamic analysis and reviews for order engineering, product development and for R&D for all Business Units and products. This includes optimization of the mechanical product design in accordance with customer specifications and requirements, national and international standards and internal procedures. The engineer performs mechanical and rotor dynamic analysis in all phases of the project, including input for detailed design. **Responsibilities:**
+ Perform structural and vibration engineering analyses on the products (including pump, hydraulic turbine, valve, seal and including the auxiliary equipment) to judge the adequacy of the design in relation to the applicable design requirements and for R&D activities.
+ Conduct basic engineering calculations (like shaft deflection, pressure boundary evaluation etc.) to validate FEA results. Good hands-on FEA Analysis tools (ANSYS and Dyrobes). FEA on Pumps and Valves. Carry out Fluid Structural Interface (FSI) analysis
+ Execute the impact of the design modification of components on the structural design.
+ Define critical dimensions of products and components.
+ Executes different types of mechanical analysis and reporting, including torsional and lateral analysis on products, such as pumps and skids.
+ Perform structural and thermal analysis of pressure vessels and rotating equipment
+ Carry out finite element analysis (FEA) of machine components, sub-assemblies and related support structures to determine stress, strain and, where necessary, natural frequencies, un-damped and damped
+ Review and evaluate customer specifications and supplier quotations related to technical acceptability of the mechanical design.
+ Assess FEA results against customer specifications, industry and Flowserve design standards and procedures for fatigue life and dynamic stability
+ Submittal of high-quality contractual documentation in accordance with customer/industry code requirements, such as ASME and present/discuss the results of the analysis with customer/stakeholders

Summary
GKN Aerospace designs and produces structural components for the global aerospace industry and with engineering offices located in Papendrecht, Hoogeveen and Bucharest. The company manufactures heavily loaded structural parts and the integrated moving components using conventional materials like aluminum and advanced thermoplastic composite materials.
We are seeking a Functional Team Leader – Analysis, based in our Papendrecht site, to lead a team of stress and analysis engineers working on the NH90 helicopter programme. The NH90 helicopter is a medium size, multi-role military helicopter developed by a collaboration of companies. The successful candidate will have a strong stress analysis background, ideally with prior experience of working with structures in a high vibration environment. The candidate must be capable of leading a team of 6-8 engineers located both our Papendrecht and Bucharest sites, with a talent to grow and develop engineers to create a high performing team. The ideal candidate will be a recognized approver of stress technical documents and have experience performing both static and fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
The candidate should possess strong communication and organizational skills and be able to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to define the technical requirements, evaluate technical risks, and manage delivery schedule and costs. The candidate must be able to work on a military programme, and comply with the necessary security and nationality requirements.
