Job Descriptions:

We are looking for a Structural Engineer with strong expertise in Reinforced Cement

Concrete (RCC) structures to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the

design, analysis, and execution of RCC structures for residential, commercial, and industrial

projects. You will work closely with architects, project managers, and construction teams to

deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mech or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Industry of Work Experience: 3+ years of experience.
• Technical and Hard Skills: Strong understanding ofsoftware structural principles and patterns such as ETABS & Staad Pro & SAFE experience with REVIT is a BIG Plus.
• Language Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Personal Qualities and Physical Abilities: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and manage competing priorities, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Expertise in Structural Analysis, Structural Engineering, steel and metal truss/bridge and tower etc.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Design Engineer at JW Consultants LLP in Pune. As a Structural Design Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting structural analysis, designing structures, and / or collaborating with architects, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural analysis to ensure the safety and reliability of large structures with moving parts such as parabolic concentrators, heliostats and solar trackers.
• Interpret complex simulation data to provide actionable design recommendations and improvements.
• Sizing components such as gears, slew drives and electric motors to meet performance and safety requirements.
• Perform bolted connection analysis to ensure structural integrity under various loading conditions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems engineers.
• Document all analysis processes, results, and design iterations comprehensively.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in industrial design and relevant engineering fields.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in designing mechanical systems, with knowledge of FEA and CFD simulation tools, and standards.
• Knowledge of industry standards related to lifting, rotating, or heavy machinery components.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems involving gears, motors, and control systems.
• Experience with renewable concentrated solar power (CSP) systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with optics and optical design is a plus.
• Problem-Solving & Teamwork: Strong troubleshooting skills, with a collaborative mindset to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Structural Design Engineer (Concrete)

• Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, python etc. will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of PT design with software like RAM concept will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master’s degree in structural engineering from reputed institute preferably through GATE qualification
