Student Services Officer
- Champagnat Campus, Mitchell Park
- ESO Grade 3 – commencing at $73,425 (pro-rata salary $62,516.81)
- Permanent Position
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am-4pm)
- 41 weeks per year
The primary function of the Student Services Officer is to deliver efficient and reliable administrative support across Student Services, with responsibility for attendance, student records, family communication and front-office functions, ensuring the smooth daily operation of the Champagnat Campus.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and timely student attendance and records in SEQTA, including managing absences, generating reports, and ensuring data integrity through regular audits;
- Serve as the primary, welcoming contact for student and family enquiries, and coordinating practical supports (e.g. bus passes, lockers, lost property, canteen slips and uniform requirements);
- Coordinate school photos, student ID and immunisation processes with relevant staff;
- Manage calendars, bookings and communications for Student Counsellors;
- Support the Health Care Centre with administration, record-keeping and resource requirements; and
- Provide back-up coverage for Reception and general office administration when needed.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in providing superior customer service and office administration support, preferably in a school or professional environment. Additionally, you will have intermediate PC skills and be experienced in using the Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suites.
