Main Responsibilities
- Assisting Resident Engineers in supervising and monitoring construction of all project components, preparing measurements for works completed and in progress, and verifying bills for payment to the contractors/suppliers.
- Assisting Resident Engineers in checking the line, level, and layout of construction to ensure conformity with the contracts, proposing any changes in the plans required as a result of findings during construction such as unforeseen obstructions.
- Assisting Resident Engineers in assessing and ensuring the adequacy of contractors' inputs in terms of materials, equipment, construction machinery, workers, and construction approach and methodologies.
- Assisting Resident Engineers in carrying out third-party inspections as necessary and providing certification on the quality of the materials/plant/supplies based on such inspections.
Qualifications
- More than 10 years of overall experience in construction supervision, out of which 5 years should be in multi-sector projects.
