Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support specifications for large-scale conversions based on client determined criteria. Generate quality and accurate output for client review and approval.
  • Analyze conversion data and provide solutions for implementing program data efficiently and accurately. Analysis focuses on how client data will be implemented into CPI Card Group production system.
  • Create support timelines for client and CPI Card Group use. Distribute timeline to CPI Card Group internal customers and external clients for approval and use throughout conversion.
  • Coordinate CPI Card Group resources required for conversion and facilitate effective information exchange between client and CPI Card Group internal customers.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis for assigned conversions or projects and seek support from CPI Card Group internal customers based on needs.
  • Act as an empowered liaison between CPI Card Group external clients and CPI Card Group internal customers (Production, IT, Printing) to provide exceptional service to clients.

  • Technical Skills  

  • Experience in Developing Inbound/Outbound interfaces in CPI (Majorly Integration experience with Success factors and S4HANA)
  • Experience in configuration and extension of Standard I flows.
  • Experience in Handling in Various Integration Adapters in SAP CPI (Succesfactors, OData, SFTP, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct)
  • Very good knowledge and working experience in palette functions, Groovy Script, XSLT Mapping, Monitoring, Security Artifacts, Tracing messages, Message mapping functionalities
  • Preferred Qualifications 

  • The best candidates will have extensive knowledge of multiple SAP modules across releases (4.x & ECC) including proficiency with SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules and knowledge of underlying technology
  • A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful
  • Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage

    Position Summary

    We actively seek a Sr. Support Engineer, who can play the role of a Tower Lead for SAP BASIS who would be the primary point of contact and overall orchestrator for all AMS support activities related to the SAP BASIS, across ABAP, Java, and Cloud landscape. This role is based in India.

    This role of SAP BASIS Tower Lead (AMS) demands a highly experienced individual who can not only oversee the technical delivery of support services but also act as a partner, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement within the discipline. The tower lead will be responsible for the BASIS quality of service delivery, adherence to SLAs, effective incident and problem management, and fostering a collaborative environment between RSI AMS, RSI Enhancements/Project, third parties (such as OBS) and client internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex enterprise systems, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in leading high-performing AMS support teams.

    Also, the BASIS Lead should provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of our global customer support team. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting and supporting of multiple SAP global clients who use both 4.x, ECC environments & latest environments. Role demands proficient communication skills to do requirement gathering, replicating production issues, stakeholder (internal / external) understanding, adhering to time tracking, adhering to SLAs, and ensuring utilization as per expectations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Should be familiar with Heterogenous SAP landscape.
  • Technical Skills – SAP BASIS:

  • Able to analyze the calls to provide LOEs and solutions in the BASIS space. Ability to guide the team in terms of the Ticket Distribution based on bandwidth of team members & their skill set, including Resolution by leveraging his/her SME Knowledge & Core Technical Skills.
  • The Lead should be confident enough to engage Digital Team Members & Technical Specialists in application related business conversations in a robust manner by clearly articulating issues and suggest the way forward.
  • Also extend extensive support to Clients when they test multiple applications in various scenarios, project related functional validations, cross modular coordination for Transport Requests Management in close coordination with Application Leads.
  • In-depth knowledge of BASIS, including an understanding of OS and patching, DB and patching, Early Watch and monitoring tools, SAPGUI setup etc.
  • Understanding of custom developments, enhancements (BADIs, user exits), reports, interfaces (RFC, IDoc), forms and data migration techniques (BDC, LSMW).
  • Experience in SOLUTION MANAGER and specifically CHARM, Job Management and IT Management.
  • Understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, HR) and their integration points.
  • Debugging and performance tuning expertise.
  • Experience with ECC, SOLMAN, FIORI, GRC specific ABAP concepts.
  • Follow best practice patching and cyber guidelines.

    The Support Analyst will be part of the Service Delivery Organization which is responsible to maintain all ADM systems in operation with highest availability.   • Provide deep functional & technical expertise in the given process area, as well as demonstrated knowledge of key integration points across different SAP modules and technical components.
  • Assume full ownership of the support tickets in the respective process area, work with integration, other process teams, development teams, 3rd party support providers to resolve the tickets within Operational/Service Level Agreement limits.
  • Understand global template and regional solutions designed/developed by Solution Delivery teams and resolve the tickets keeping the solution intact.
  • Perform thorough testing including regression testing before releasing any solution for final user validation.

     Your Profile:
  • 5 years’ experience in one or more SAP modules; Experience with S/4HANA highly preferred.
  • Must have expertise with SAP S/4 HANA PP-PI solutions covering the following processes: working with process messages, master recipes with process instructions, PI sheets and production execution using interface with MES, production scheduling, capacity planning, backflushing, subcontracting, shop floor operations and batch management; experience in process manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
  • Must have experience with production planning processes, PPPI master data and relevant configuration , MRP, Demand management, capacity planning, ATP, Make To Order, Make To Stock, Inter company stock transfer planning, subcontracting, PP relevant Fiori apps etc.
  • Have experience of integration knowledge with SAP QM, SAP EWM and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) using PI/PO as middleware; experience with ALE/EDI IDoc’s, file-based interface, MES integration, recovery of failed batch Jobs & Inbound & Outbound RFC & Queues.
  • Nice to have have knowledge of S4 HANA ePPDS (PPDS on S4HANA), Flexible planning, MRP Live, demand management, capacity requirement planning, CIF error handling, etc.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP PP to provide best practice solution on incidents & assess its downstream impact on integrated solution. Ensure continuity of ‘business as usual’ items in lieu of proposed RICEFW as well as its relevance on Master Data requirements.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Post Implementation Service Management, Incident or Defect Management and Testing tools. Understanding of SOLMAN, CharM and change management processes.
  • Experience with a full-lifecycle SAP implementation will be an added advantage.
  • Exhibits ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong analytical, organization, time management, facilitation, and process management skills
