The U.S. based company manages an office in the Manila area, Paranaque specifically. Their Philippines office manages important processes, and acts as a crucial part of the company.
Our Medical Assistant team is a crucial part of our company, making sure that we bill our patients correctly, pay the providers accordingly and educate the peers properly. The responsible person will make sure that our Indian based MA team is efficiently taking care of both our patients and clinicians, in order to achieve and continuously work on our vision: Patients' values first!
**Qualifications**:
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-10 codes preferred.
Strong and effective results-oriented team leader with at least 5 years of medical billing management experience.
Experience with AdvancedMD is preferred and a plus
Excellent analytical skills, with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel /Google Spreadsheet. Must be able to critically evaluate data and make recommendations for change based on extensive research and evidence.
Successful history of adding value to international growing organizations through proactive root cause analysis leading to optimal business performance.
Must be self-directed, highly motivated, and organized, with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Bachelor Degree or equivalent, Master degree is preferable.

**Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
- Maintains medical supplies inventory and performing preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
