Job Description:  -

• The Site Surveyor is responsible for conducting topographic and construction site surveys using instruments like Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level.

Key duties include marking layouts per architectural and structural drawings, preparing and maintaining survey records, and ensuring accurate setting out of structures. 

• The role involves collaborating with civil engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to verify dimensions and levels, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the construction process.

We are currently seeking a skilled Surveyor looking for their next step to join this firm and engage in a portfolio of complex projects across Brisbane. Salary is determined by experience; however, you can expect a remuneration of $80K-$105K+Super+Benefits.

The Surveyor will be reporting to the Survey Manager and will help manage the Surveying requirements with a mix of computations and field work.

About the Role 

• Great opportunity to work on major Land Development & Infrastructure projects
• Responsibility for all survey related tasks both on site and in the office
• Assisting and completing drafting when required
• Access to the latest Surveying equipment & technology to complete duties
• Responsibility for overall management of visual data assets
• Site data capture using tools including Total Station, LIDAR & Drone scanning methods
• Liaising with all relevant stakeholders including council, contractors, internal & external stake holders
• Adhering to legal & client requirements

About You

• Diploma or Degree qualified in Spatial Science, Surveying or equivalent
• Registration or ability to be Registered with SBQ
• Strong knowledge of Land Development & Engineering projects
• Solid skillset in relevant software e.g. 12D or LisCAD
• A self-starter with hands on experience in addition to an analytical mind towards computations
• The ability to use a range of equipment and software
• Eye for detail
• Great communication skills
