A leading Manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture and marketing of electric vehicles in the segments e3W, e-truck, e-tractor and e-SCVs HQ in Chennai
Responsibilities
1. To perform requirements analysis and translate EV vehicle high level requirements or inputs into system and derived requirements, create systems solutions, and conceptual designs
2. To be able to specify system requirements and able to define software component architecture.
3. To apply systems engineering on medium, large, complex programs in, requirements analysis/management, interface management, system architecture development/design, integration/verification/validation planning and execution.
4. To have knowledge of EV Systems (BMS, VCU, MCU, TCU, Charger etc.,) and experience in creating Software Feature Requirement Specification.
5. Worked with PTC ALM/DOORS or any other requirement management tool
6. Have working knowledge of Requirement Design and Elicitation tools like Enterprise Architect
7. Requirement Analysis, Management and Traceability
8. To have experience in system engineering and MBSE concepts
9. To have experience in modelling using MATLAB/Simulink/State flow, and M-scripting.
10. To create application layer architecture development for communication protocols CAN, LIN, UDS.
11. Behavior modelling, signal list & .m file creation.
12. To have experience in Auto-code generation.
13. To have knowledge in embedded C programming.
14. To have experience in MIL, SIL design and Verification.
What Will Put You Ahead
1. Fundamentals in automotive SPICE (SYS.1 and SYS.2, SWE1-4) and ISO26262
2. Designing documents about software architecture and design
3. Very Good Experience working in Automotive SW ECU Development
4. Professional experiences in abstraction and analysing of requirements and software design concepts
5. Practical Experience in Agile Software Development and embedded software architectures
6. Reading and using electrical schematics
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external interfaces
8. Tool and process-oriented working methods
9. High conflict and problem-solving ability
Mandatory Qualifications
1. Bachelors or master's in engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer science or equivalent
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Vehicle Software Product management with adherence to processes followed in Automotive industry
3. Min. 12+ years experience in Embedded Software Development for industry, ideally in the automotive sector

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to design and develop cutting-edge, microservices-based software solutions deployed on the cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture principles, cloud technologies, and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex, scalable, and highly available systems. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and collaborator, able to guide development teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly software.
Basic Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, highly available, and resilient microservices architectures on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP - specify preferred platform).
Define and document software architecture specifications, including design patterns, data models, APIs, and deployment strategies for microservices.
Lead the technical design and implementation of critical software components within a microservices ecosystem.
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and the successful implementation of microservices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Participate actively in code reviews and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in software architecture, microservices, and cloud computing.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential technical risks and challenges.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and tooling.
Collaborate with product management and UX/UI designers to ensure the software meets user experience requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with at least 5 years focused on microservices architectures.
Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable and highly available systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP - specify preferred platform).
Strong proficiency in Java, REST API design and implementation, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Hibernate, Spring Framework, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Experience with AngularJS or Angular is required.
Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Experience with API gateways
