**What you will do**
Let's do this. Let's change the world. This is a technical role with main responsibility for coordinating all aspects of VMWare/ESX and Nutanix administration within a 24x7 regulated environment. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and automation, and involves working with virtualization servers and related technologies introduced into the Amgen ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Virtualization and serves as the global enterprise administration group, overseeing both physical and virtual hosting environments-including private and public cloud platforms. The responsibilities span operating systems, databases, middleware, storage, and backup services. The selected candidate will play a key role in configuration and operations management, executing daily systems administration tasks within a complex and dynamic environment.
