In this role, you would be responsible for end-to-end process definition, implementation and execution of the best practices of system and safety engineering in the company.
Requirements
Responsibilities:- Work closely with (customers') system and vehicle architects to understand and author system and safety requirements
- Construct and lead the development of HARA, Item definition, ASIL allocation/decomposition, and safety goals
- Define and communicate functional safety requirements and technical safety requirements for the product
- Good understanding of the system architectures and methodology
- Develop and communicate safety architecture to cross-functional team
- Conduct and/or participate in systems - failure modes and effects analysis (SFMEA), design-failure modes and effects analysis (DFMEA), FTA, DFA, etc
- Support the cross-functional team to develop safety requirements and other safety work products at various levels per ISO-26262
- Review the DFMEA and Software FMEA
- Perform FMEDA and diagnostic coverage analysis to derive metrics
- Implement and ensure compliance to the safety cycle as per the standard
- Lead and represent the team in Functional safety audits and assessments
- Foster the safety culture with the company through training and collaboration
- Expertise in ISO26262 functional safety implementation
- Experience with ASIL C/MSIL D product development
- Awareness of ECU topologies
- Strong understanding of hardware and software functions
- Hands-on experience to develop safe work products
- 2-5 years of experience in the automotive(2W/3W/4W) industry
- Have worked on Battery management systems and/or other e-mobility electronic products
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards
- Background/experience in system engineering
- Preferable with a master's degree in embedded systems or related field
- Certification for the functional safety standard (IS0-26262, ISO 13849) from reputed institutes

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related
fields.
• A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in conducting cyber risk assessments and related
security assessments.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO/IEC:27001/22301/2000 LI/LA or
equivalent are highly valued.
• Profound knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using various security assessment and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating technical
