Role description

The goal of the CRM System Specialist is to support the development and constant improvement of the global CRM platform. CRM System Specialist works in close cooperation with CRM Business Owner, Group IT, ERP and Data Warehouse. This position is part of the newly created global CRM Competence Center, which is located in Poland.

Your main challenges

Perform daily and strategic administrative tasks in the CRM system (eg. Data correction, changes of settings, testing, error analysis)

Support the CRM system support during subsequent implementation phases and daily functioning within the scope of designated areas.

Establishing relationships with other company departments involved in the CRM project

Ensuring integration of CRM with ERP systems through cooperation with internal and external owners of business processes

Providing second level support through a system of complaints in related areas

Coordination of administrative activities in the CRM system

Establishing a documentation technique to maximize the coherence of CRM data and optimize data flow

Checking the correctness of data entered into the system and participation in the creation of technical means and organizational culture aimed at maintaining these data in a fixed order

Support for new users and existing users in the scope of new functionalities of the CRM system

Management of security and authorization problems

Authorization:

Analysis and resolution of problems with the CRM system at the administrative and architecture level

Performing advanced and complex tasks in the CRM system, such as mass data operations, building queries and reports, and creating e-mail templates

Customization and adaptation of CRM system settings and content depending on the needs

Monitoring of data validity, data migration and data integrity

Support in creating long-term strategic goals in terms of correctness of data and system settings

What we look for

Past experience of CRM implementation, ideally from the business perspective,

Thorough understanding of business processes in manufacturing/manufacturing service company,

Ideally: coming from IT area into the business or from strong Customer Care experience with CRM,

Fluent English in written and verbal form

Frequent business travel within EMEA

Relevant experience in developing LEAN, robust process maps and delivering new processes within a multi-channel, global retailer would be an advantage.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sales Information System Specialist to join our Order Fulfillment & Procurement.

The Incumbent will provide expertise in computer application development and technical knowledge for the purpose of solving customer business problems and assisting customers in achieving business strategies within Resource Industries - IT, Order Fulfilment and Procurement Division. Products within this portfolio include Order Management and S&OP corporate applications. This position will build a modern and agile world class order management platform in support of current and future business capabilities leveraging SAP, Salesforce, and AWS technologies. The incumbent will contribute to design, development, and deployment of Caterpillar’s state-of-the-art order management solutions.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield, Bangalore Location.

Computer science educational background and strong experience in IT related field.

Extensive experience in designing, developing, and supporting data solutions using SQL, data modeling, various ETL tools and CDC methods.

Strong experience in experience in Snowflake design, development, and support.

Experience in multiple business processes or organizations and experience in multiple IT disciplines.

Knowledge and experience in AI concepts, AWS and SAP platforms, integration, and architecture patterns

Understanding of systems architecture and security for internal and external communication

Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.

Successfully organizes problem solvers and stakeholders for high-impact problems.

Implements best practices for functional and information analysis and maintains the requirements definition.

Primary Purpose and Goal The System Specialist, DevOps is a pivotal role within the Technical Product Management organization, tasked with ensuring robust support for systems utilized by application development teams.

Collaborating closely with Product Owners, the System Specialist, DevOps oversees the day-to-day configuration (including coding) and support responsibilities for these products.

This role is instrumental in driving the support team to peak productivity, offering coaching, mentorship, and resolving any impediments faced by the L1/L2/L3 support teams.

Additionally, the System Specialist, DevOps plays a critical role in system administration, contributes to strategic planning alongside Product Owners, and adopts a hands-on approach to advance processes.

The role also involves liaising with Product Owners to provide system data (e.g., access logs, configuration settings, user manifests) to internal Compliance Teams for scheduled analyses.

Responsibilities and Tasks Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain Product Documentation, including Configuration Guides and User Guides.

Work with Product Owners to uphold data management standards.

Facilitate the development and deployment of system integration strategies that leverage common tools and processes.

Provide technical leadership in developing and validating improved processes, technologies, and large-scale systems for customers and stakeholders.

Coordinate with product suppliers for enhancements and issues unresolved in-house.

Generate weekly and monthly operational reports.

Manage users, groups, and projects.

Participate in technical review boards and offer technical support and consultation for tools managed by the Technical Product Management group.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams virtually and in person to support production and release new vendor software upgrades, operating system upgrades, infrastructure upgrades, and migration of services from data centers.

Coordinate the installation of upgrades and patches.

Liaise with Product Owners to provide system data to internal Compliance Teams during scheduled and ad-hoc audits.

Spend up to 20% of the time managing and coaching the Support Teams and the end-user community.

Management and Competencies Experience with Microsoft and software development.

Experience with Fortify on Demand, GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub Advanced Security for Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Defender – DevOps Security Qualifications: Preferred Experience with Agile transformation in organizations.

Hands-on experience with metrics and tracking tools (e.g., PowerBI).

Capability to manage internal IT teams, contractors, and onshore/offshore partner resources.

Experience in developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions.

Proven experience in developing team members and serving as a role model.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and convey technical information to IT professionals.

International experience and the ability to work in diverse environments across cultures and time zones, with availability for international travel at short notice and participation in international calls outside of standard working hours.
