Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Coordinator: Training & Teacher Support located in Bengaluru. The role involves coordinating training programs, developing training materials, communicating with educators, conducting training sessions, and overseeing team training initiatives at TTF. It is a key role for anyone ambitious enough to scope it out as it defines the very purpose of what TTF stands for – teacher development, teacher support, teacher motivation, teacher well-being & growth, student well-being and change and improvement of our schools.
Preferred Profile
- Graduate with a suitable qualification in Education
- Experience in school teaching.
- Experience in training adults, particularly teachers/ educators
- Evidence of passion in student-centred teaching-learning, of experimenting methodically in new ideas/ thinking, in continuous learning and reflection
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Passion and energy to create change in the way normal teaching-learning happens in our classrooms.
- Communication skills- ability to generate and guide a discussion, ability to question and to provoke and inspire thinking/ reflecting, ability to listen, understand and empathise as well as challenge positively
- Analytical skills- able to understand scope of training programmes and adapt them to the particular target group of teachers
- Ability to reflect and continuously develop oneself
- Ability to organize, operate with discipline ie good time management, cost-consciousness, meticulous approach towards achieving learning objectives
- Teamwork and relationship-building skills: ability to work with other facilitators as a team, to be flexible, to be able to build relationships with schools and teachers

About the role
The Classroom Support Assistant (CSA) is a member of the Classroom Support Team (CST). CSAs play a key role in supporting classroom teachers to ensure that students with diverse learning needs can access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.

Qualifications

- Have a Certificate IV in Education Support (for classification at Level 5.1); or
- Have a Certificate III in Education Support (for classification at Level 4.1); or
- Be studying an Initial Teacher Education qualification (for classification at Level 4.1); or
- Have three years' experience in a Classroom and Learning Support Assistant position (for classification at Level 4.1).
Selection Criteria
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with colleagues and students.
- Ability to apply knowledge, experience and training to assist with planning, organising and achieving outcomes within the relevant time constraints.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
