Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Project Management
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI/ML, Cloud, and Data engineering projects .

- Manage multiple parallel workstreams and ensure alignment with client and business objectives.
- Oversee technical delivery teams and ensure best practices are followed across development, testing, and deployment.

Technical Leadership

Stakeholder & Team Management
- Partner with business leaders, clients, and internal teams to define solution strategy and delivery roadmaps.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional delivery teams including data engineers, ML engineers, and cloud developers.
- Act as the single point of contact for client delivery updates and escalation management.
- Facilitate communication between onsite/offshore teams for effective execution.
Process & Governance
- Establish and maintain strong delivery governance practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and cloud best practices.
- Track and report KPIs, delivery metrics, and project health to leadership teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12–14 years of total experience with at least 5 years in delivery or technical management roles.
- Strong technical background in Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) , Data Engineering , and AI/ML project delivery .
- Proven experience leading end-to-end implementation of data-driven and AI-powered enterprise solutions.
- Hands-on understanding of technologies such as:
- Data: Spark, Python, SQL, Databricks, Kafka, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse
- AI/ML: TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow, OpenAI APIs, or Azure ML
- Cloud: AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

2. Roadmap Ownership & Timeline Accountability
- Translate high-level product vision and strategic goals into a clear, actionable engineering roadmap, defining realistic milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Own and enforce team adherence to timelines, proactively identifying and managing scope creep, and escalating timeline risks early with clear, data-driven evidence.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and Product Managers to ensure an appropriate balance is maintained between new feature development, essential maintenance, and technical debt resolution.
3. Resource Utilization & Delivery Reporting
- Actively track and monitor team utilization and workload balance, identifying potential underutilization, bottlenecks, or resource constraints before they negatively impact delivery schedules.
- Establish and maintain clear, concise, and visible delivery reporting, leveraging tools like Git (or equivalent source control/project management tools) to provide transparency without resorting to micro-management.
- Define and utilize key metrics to continuously measure sprint health, team velocity, predictability, and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
4. Support & Maintenance Framework Setup
- Design, document, and implement robust post-go-live support structures, including triage workflows, clear escalation paths, and defined SLA targets for different severity levels.
- Ensure that all customer issues and production incidents are handled professionally, promptly, and within defined SLAs, without derailing critical, ongoing development work.
- Establish and maintain repeatable, documented processes for bug fixes, structured enhancement requests, and proactive resolution of accumulated technical debt.
5. Stakeholder & Multi-Team Coordination
- Develop a deep understanding of the complex relationships and dependencies between different teams.
- Align and manage expectations across a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders in multiple regions.
- Act as the single point of accountability for all delivery communication flowing between engineering, product management, and executive leadership.
- Vendor Coordination - Need to Manage external dependencies (vendors, third-party APIs).
- Risk Management Framework – Proactively mitigate risk (absence management, succession planning, key dependency assumptions in roadmap planning)
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a Technical Program Management, Engineering Manager, or Delivery Lead role, preferably within a fast-paced software development environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with proven ability to lead international and cross-cultural communication.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and in driving large, complex projects to completion on tight deadlines.
