Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform Training Need Analysis (TNA) and establish the necessary trainings all Plant people on technical skills.
Design and deploy L&D methodologies to ensure effective and smooth implementation of L&D processes and policies across the designated business/function.
Impart appropriate classroom and on the job training
Develops training and development programs and objectives.
Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
Monitors training effectiveness / certifies for skill development
Provides on the job coaching to plant personnel.
Prepares the organization / plant for new technology implementation and future skills
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
Prepare workforce for line commissioning as per Project Plan
Set up the foundation for Skill School
Required Qualifications, Competence & Skills
Technical/ Professional
Bachelors Degree or above in Engineering
> 15 years working experience with > 5 years as managerial capacity on technical training in a discrete mass manufacturing environment (> 500 employees) , such an automotive, electronics and other components manufacturing.
General
Ability to work in a team, as well as, independently; ability to influence other people
Demonstrated leadership skill, good presentation, team-building and communications
Strong project management and analytical skills.
Administrative/ Managerial
Able to energize, motivate & inspire people
Good coaching & mentoring skills
Experience in talent retention & management
Ability to adapt and work with different cultures
Executional
Must be highly energetic and have the drive to get things done ahead of plan
Highly passionate in performing Equipment work functions
Strategic
Should think ahead on the department goals and plan the department KPI
Build team competencies to prepare for future company needs
