Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact software development projects within a fully remote operational framework. This role is crucial for driving the successful delivery of complex technology solutions, from initial ideation through to deployment and post-launch support. You will be responsible for meticulously planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is essential, as you will be guiding cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and QA engineers. Your duties will include defining project scope, creating detailed project plans, managing resource allocation, mitigating risks, and facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders. This is a remote-first position, offering unparalleled flexibility while demanding exceptional organizational and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of managing software development lifecycles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to foster a collaborative and productive virtual team environment. Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Asana is a must. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end project management of software development initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead and motivate Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status updates.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products that meet client requirements.
  • Optimize project workflows and team collaboration in a remote setting.
  • Manage project scope changes effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on software development.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
