**Job Description**
This position is for a technical lead on a feature team that develops / enhances and maintains functionality related to regulatory and other requirements for applications that host Instrument / Securities reference data within the Bank. The candidate will be responsible to work closely with the local manager and team members to ensure high quality deliverables from the team on time, following all stipulated processes. He / she will also work closely with the global team members / management and stakeholders of various projects to ensure. The candidate will also adopt to a high-performance work culture in the team.
In this role, you will ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
Hands-on engagement in the full software lifecycle activities is expected. This includes requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment. **Responsibilities:**

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and administration of our enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated expertise in Proxmox virtualization platforms along with Windows Server administration and enterprise management . This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical management of mission-critical systems.
The IT Manager will ensure the availability, integrity, and efficiency of core IT services while leading a small team of IT professionals and collaborating with cross-functional business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain Proxmox clusters, virtual machines, and storage resources.
- Oversee Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and Windows-based applications).
- Implement system redundancy, disaster recovery, and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Security & Compliance
- Apply security best practices across Linux- and Windows-based environments.
- Monitor and patch vulnerabilities in hypervisors, operating systems, and applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry and organizational security policies, including audit requirements.
- Team & Project Leadership
- Supervise and mentor IT support and system administration staff.
- Lead infrastructure-related projects including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools or platforms that improve efficiency or security.
- Operations & Support
- Maintain IT documentation and configuration records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues for both Proxmox and Windows systems.
- Provide on-call availability for critical IT systems when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Proxmox VE (cluster management, storage, HA setups, networking, backups) .
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server administration (Active Directory, GPO, file/print services, RDS, virtualization via Hyper-V desirable).
- Experience with networking fundamentals (VLANs, firewalls, VPN, routing).
- Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mixed virtualization and Windows environments.
- Preferred:
- Certifications such as Proxmox VE Certified Engineer , Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate , or similar.
- Experience with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) administration in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, GLBA, PCI-DSS, or industry-specific security standards).

- Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong organizational ability with project management experience.
- Analytical thinking with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
