About the Position: Telecoms Engineer
Key Accountabilities: Responsible for design and delivery of various Telecom sub-systems for Urban/Mainline projects based on the project requirements. The position needs to understand customer requirements and project context. Interact with the customer towards getting approvals as per the project key milestones. Day to day responsibilities include preparation of design documents, interacting with vendors for various given Telecom sub-systems. Working closely with all stakeholders like Project Manager, Interface Manager, Civil contractors etc.
Key Experience Preferred: Minimum 8 to 12 years relevant experience in rail Telecom domain or IT/Telecom industry as independent contributor. Should have experience and knowledge of handling various interfaces of Telecom with other systems like Signaling, Rolling stock etc. The ability to manage the customer and the supplier at the same time is preferred. Flexible and resilience to work on multiple projects at a time depending on requirements.
Education/Qualifications Preferred: Graduate Engineer in Electrical/ Instrumentation/ IT/ Telecom disciplines is preferred.
