Job Description:

Experience in handling EPC Project/Proposal/FEED including design/construction/site support activities.

Should have extensive experience in basic and detailed engineering of various Telecommunication and Security systems – Telephone System, LAN/WAN, CCTV System, Security & Access Control System, PAGA System, Video Conferencing System, AV systems, Intrusion Detection System, Plant Radio System (UHF/VHF), VSAT etc.

Should be capable of preparing and delivering all telecom design deliverables such as Block Diagrams, Design/System Specifications, Bill of Material, MTO, Cable Schedule, Interconnection diagram, Eqpt/Routing Layouts, Calculations & Coverage Study Reports etc.

Capable of reviewing Vendor/ Sub-Contractor documents and drawings: Specifications, Technical Calculations, Material take-offs, Datasheets etc.

Should be well conversant with Naviswork/SPR for 3D Model review

Should have experience in Estimation of man-hours required for carrying out various engineering activities

Knowledge of International Codes & Standards.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication / Electronics & Instrumentation.

Relevant Experience:

Should have 10 – 15 years of experience as Telecom engineer in oil & gas field.

• Good knowledge of API’s and integrating with 3rd party applications .

• Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to convert to solutions.
• Knowledge of Call flows, Inbound, Outbound Campaigns, Call Recordings and Call Monitoring
• Good knowledge of Gateway configuration and Genesys SIP Trucking and Dial Plans.
• Able to troubleshoot and identify the root causes via reading logs and other Genesys tools for troubleshooting.
• Can explain the issue clearly to the Vendor and provide necessary information correctly if the Vendors need it
