Key Responsibilities of Student Success Manager (Counsellor/Sr Counsellor)

1. Have strong destination knowledge of Germany and other European countries.
2. Guide students on overseas study options based on their academic background, goals, and interests.
3. Provide information on universities, courses, admission requirements, and application processes.
4. Assist students in preparing and reviewing application documents (forms, essays, SOPs, CVs, etc.).
5. Counsel students on visa requirements, financial planning, and scholarship opportunities.
6. Conduct end to end process of students, right from counselling, application till visa processing.
7. Conduct orientation sessions for students about living and studying abroad.
8. Stay updated with international education policies, admission deadlines, and university updates.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with universities and academic institutions abroad.
10. Handle student queries through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
11. Keep proper records of student applications and follow up until admission/visa completion.
12. Support marketing and promotional activities such as seminars, education fairs, and webinars.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Explain about admission procedures and courses offered to the prospective students and their parents through phone calls, emails and face to face meetings.
• Support parents throughout the admission process by answering their queries and helping them to complete the required documents.
• Maintain the target metrics by converting prospective students into confirmed admission and succeed in achieving the performance goals.
• Review the student applications for the eligibility and academic qualification.
• Participate in the decision-making process for student admissions based on school policies and guidelines.
• Prepares and presents reports to the centre head / Management as and when required.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, colleagues and external agencies for coordinating admission activities and resolving problems.
• Perform centre administrative and clerical activities when needed.
