Qualifications & Experience:

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and more than two years of work experience in a similar capacity.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• To counsel/interact with professionals in a consultative manner.
• To counsel individuals to understand their personal and social challenges affecting their career progression and advise them on how to succeed through upskilling.
• To develop, maintain and apply a high-level knowledge of programs and processes from entry requirements to program details, guiding them from the application to enrolment in the program (face to face, over the telephone, online)

Required Skills & Competencies

The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in:

3. Deliver Impactful Sales Presentations

• Conduct persuasive and engaging sales presentations over the phone to showcase the value and benefits of our courses.
• Effectively communicate key features, course details, and advantages to potential learners.

4. Negotiate Effectively and Address Customer Concerns

• Handle objections and address customer concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Negotiate pricing, payment plans, and other terms to secure enrollments.

5. Build Strong Relationships and Nurture Leads

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential learners through regular follow-ups and personalized interactions.
• Nurture leads through ongoing communication and engagement to facilitate future conversions.

6. Maintain Accurate Records and Reporting

• Keep detailed and accurate records of all calls, interactions, and progress toward individual and team targets.

As an Education Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding students through the process of selecting and applying to study abroad programs, as well as providing ongoing support throughout their study abroad experience.

Job responsibilities :

• Provide personalized counseling to students on study abroad program options, including academic requirements, financial considerations, and cultural immersion opportunities
• Advise students on the application process for study abroad programs, including preparing application materials, submitting applications, and following up with program providers
• Assist students with securing funding for study abroad programs, including scholarships, grants, and loans
• Organize pre-departure orientation sessions for students, including information on travel, housing, and cultural adaptation
• Provide ongoing support to students throughout their study abroad experience and also assist them in building their profile.
• Assist with the development and promotion of study abroad programs and initiatives

Job requirements :

• Bachelor s degree in education, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Overseas education counseling or any education related field
