The vacancy eligibility
The Australian Public Service Commission (the APSC) seeks to attract, develop and retain diverse, enthusiastic and high-performing employees. To help us in achieving this, we maintain a temporary employment register of interested applicants that the APSC can use to fill a variety of employment opportunities across various classifications and business areas. At the APSC all employees must hold a baseline level security clearance at a minimum, however some roles may require a higher level of clearance.

To excel in this role, you should have:
- Relevant Certificate IV or specific industry qualification or equivalent knowledge and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience or transferable experience in employment services and an enhanced working knowledge of strategies to address barriers to employment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate flexibly, resolve conflict and work with stakeholders to deliver customer service
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office, databases and business systems with attention to detail
- Demonstrated willingness to work in various positions and under a range of circumstances with participants to stabilise their employment
- Demonstrated personal integrity, professionalism and empathy towards people living with disabilities
- Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments
- Demonstrated relationship management and engagement skills with key stakeholders

- A driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
