About the Role:
- Monitor progress of work with respect to Master project schedule
- Monitoring the execution of work at site to ensure alignment to the drawings and specification.
- Timely reminders to all contractors about the delays in schedule
- Ensuring the workability and adherence to standards in the work statement/methodologies submitted by contractors for each item of work and ensuring the alignment to the same at site. Responsible for all site work related documentation for the assigned items of work.
- Anticipate and flag imminent bottlenecks. Take steps to avoid delays. Furnish necessary reports of critical activities and super critical activities to client.
- Advice contractors in enhancing the resource productivity by implementing various work study techniques.
- Monitor procurement of materials, equipment and labour by contractors with respect to the time schedule and advise them suitable measures for improvement.
- Administration of all contracts, and assistance in resolution of differences and disputes, if any, arising during the duration of contract.
- Assisting QA/QC - in - charge in ensuring all quality parameters are met.
- Assisting the safety team in implementing the safety standards at site; provide all support for making job safety analysis.
- Escalating to project manager about all abnormal developments with respect to progress of work, safety, quality, resources etc
- Clarifies specification and continuously liaise with accountable Project Manager internal.
- Monitors construction activity, schedule, milestone and adherence to budgets and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.
- Provide cost saving solutions and negotiate contractor change orders.
- Manages the project s risk management process.
- Implementation of systems requirements in the installation and test plans of the Contractor for the detailed planning and construction phase until final takeover is completed.

**Role Summary:**
As a Project Engineer-Staff, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to execute project orders from Order Receipt to Cash. You'll also coordinate the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects. To provide mechanical engineering expertise during design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and production phases of offshore projects, ensuring systems and equipment meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and operational goal are the main key components and detailed are as following:
- Providing support to technical manager by referring documents such as PFD, P&ID, Isometrics and Construction Drawing. Discussing the issues with vendors, as required.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, equipment sizing, and material selection for mechanical systems (pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, piping systems, etc.).
- Identifies operational issues by going through DPR and flagging critical activities to the technical manager.
- Compare drawings and datasheets of various equipment such as pumps, compressor, motor, heat exchangers, strainers, lab equipment, HVAC and Utility system etc. and highlight the deviations to the vendor if any.
- Tracking of Management of Change (MOC) documentation / records.
- Preparing Templates / Registers / Trackers for HSSEQ (Health Safety Security Environment & Quality) & Compliance, as required.
- Coordinate with process, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and marine disciplines for integrated design.
- To provide necessary technical input to procurement team in evaluating datasheet and drawings to support their day-to-day activities and ensure all equipment to be procured meeting specification requirement .
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers by providing them clarity on basic technical information related to Purchase Requisition , if needed.
- Provide mechanical input during 3D model reviews, HAZOPs, and design audits.
- Review technical report and conduct data mining in providing established engineering standards (JIS / ASME / ANSI / ASTM, etc .), guidelines (DNV / ABS / ASTM, etc.) and recommended practices.
- Assist team members for any errors / issues while creating PRs (Purchase Requisitions), RFQs (Request for Quotations) / POs (Purchase Orders).
- Prepare TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation) for Valve/ piping, interacting with vendors and ensuring they meet as per API/JIS/ASME/ANSI Standard, if required
- Prepare CBE (Commercial Bid Evaluation) for Procurement Team, as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in offshore oil & gas projects,
