We are intending to hire Performance Test Engineer.
Lactation: Delhi - Onsite Deployment
Key responsibilities:
Design and Execute Performance, Load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for large-scale Government applications.
Develop Performance test strategies, plans, and scripts aligned with project requirements.
Use tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or Gatling to simulate workloads and measure system performance.
Identify performance bottlenecks at application, database, network, and infrastructure levels.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement performance tuning and optimization
Monitor application performance in production and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with Government IT security and performance standards (MeitY guidelines, GIGW, etc)
Support capacity planning, scalability forecasting, and disaster recovery drills.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues with strict timelines.
Required skills and competencies:
Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, KPIs, and metrics (response time through put, scalability, latency, resource utilization).
Hands-on expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, Neo Load, or equivalent tools,
Experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or New Relic
Proficiency in analyzing logs, system metrics, and database performance (SQL, tuning, query optimization).
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS /Azure / GCP).
Understanding of security, compliance, and accessibility standards for Government applications.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Educational Qualifications
BE / BTech/MCA or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
Certification (preferred / desirable)
Certified Performance Testing Professional (CPTP) or equivalent.
ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst / Performance Testing certification
Load Runner or JMeter Certification
Agile Scrum certification (CSM / PSM) for project collaboration
Cloud Performance Testing Certification (AWS / Azure / GCP) – desirable.
Experience required
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in performing testing and load testing
Proven expertise in large scale IT Government or e-Governance projects.
Strong exposure to citizen-facing digital platforms, portals, or mission critical Government applications.
