The Senior/Performance test specialist will be responsible for driving existing production performance inefficiencies to resolution, as well as working closely with both product and engineering teams to ensure new products meet the performance demands of our customers. Deep-dive production performance metrics, as well as performance test analysis, to identify system bottlenecks, define system capacity, and compare benchmarks
Work with the CloudOps team to understand / clarify performance related issues / conditions, then work with SME's to identify solutions to address issues
Contribute to the delivery of quality product by engineering teams, as it relates to performance, stability, scalability, and reliability
Advise engineering teams on scalability and performance strategies
Partner with database engineer to design/build/execute performance tests

- You will call attention to and focuses on incident assessments.
- You will provide recommendations for resolution of issues and proposes improvements to the NF aspects of code, system optimization, best sizing and architecture
- You will ensure that product documentation, testware and work products used in the testing activities are of the highest quality to ensure traceability, correctness and compliance with product requirements and specifications, internal standards and clients' needs.
- You will maintain and enhance the professional and business relationship with the client/ internal customers.
- You will provide professional and technical support to team members and keeps them informed of assignment/ project status. Mentors new team members
- 6+ years' experience in NF testing/ SW development.
- In depth knowledge of NF testing and automation tools (Load Runner, JProfiler, APM tools, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Strong know how in analyzing Stuck Threads and Deadlocks.
- Working experience on OpenStack, AWS and/or Azure.
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery testing experience is an advantage.
- Telecommunication experience/ knowledge
- Amdocs business and Cross Portfolio knowledge – advantage
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/ Computer science
