**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As Test associate I, at JPMorgan Chase, we are looking for a tester to join the organization and play an integral role in transformational Global initiatives providing test services required for accelerating change program delivery. This role will work in partnership with project managers, technology and testing teams to define, design and build test deliverables.
**Responsibilities**:
- Day-to-day responsibility of leading the testing effort for assigned user stories covering analysis of user stories along with it’s impact on existing functionalities.
- Build test scenarios for regression coverage for existing functionalities
- Understanding the business requirements and translate into specific test scenarios and write test scripts
- Responsibility for the provision of accurate testing estimates.
- Utilisation of test automation tools, to enable the efficient and timely E2E test execution.
- Identifying opportunities to accelerate and synergise testing processes for assigned projects and syndicate the information to other team members to validate prior to implementation.
- Taking responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of Testing defects and the re-testing process.
- Validation and presentation of Test Results for internal Sign-off.
- Relevant testing experience in Client Onboarding with **Subject matter expertise in Know your customer (KYC)** for financial services industries
- Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and skills to learn and work with evolving methodologies.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision on day-to-day activities.
- Strong organizational skills - ability to dynamically manage and oversee critical testing tasks accurately and to tight deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to firmwide standards, controls and intelligence automation solutions governance
- Partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology groups and ensure that UAT team priorities and needs are communicated effectively especially relating to Code Releases and Test environments.
- Experienced in using Business Driven Development / Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation.
- Experienced in using Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or a similar tool would be added advantage.
- Identification of testing automation opportunities and test synergies within the Project.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Design and develop automated test cases using current automation framework or develop your own solution for testing user stories and tasks
- Perform peer code review
- Actively participate into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up/scrum meeting, Sprint planning, retrospectives, etc
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve the Sprint objectives
- Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)
- Manage individual task priorities and deliverables.
- Responsible for quality of solutions the he/she provides
- Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities, Support the PO, Analyst and Scrum Master
**Your skills and experience**
- Total experience of 7-10 Years, in automation testing. Should have experience in JAVA, selenium & Rest Assured tool.
- Should have know-how on how to implement test automation for micro-service based architecture
- Hands on experience on testing automation frameworks and tools
- Strong experience required in REST API, JSON, XML, SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Test Management/test planning activities,designing test cases, user story/script creation and execution
- Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing
- Knowledge of various test levels and test types: white/black box, system, performance, integration, regression testing
- High analytical and technical capabilities
- Familiar with ALM test management tool
- Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Hands on experience with Selenium, cucumber
- Excellent communications skills: ability to translate complex business processes and technical designs and concerns into easy to understand language
- Excellent test reporting skills
- Experience with distributed/multi-locations teams
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organised teams with functional stakeholders of various levels
- Able to control multiple assignments and to manage priorities
