Job Summary:

Mandatory skills: Mainframe Tester, JCL, DB2, SQL

Experience: 5-7 years

Work Location: Trivandrum/Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand and analyze business and system requirements to create comprehensive test deliverables including test strategies, test plans, test cases/scripts, scenarios, and test data.
• Independently perform test planning, estimation, execution, and defect management across project phases.
• Participate in requirement review and grooming sessions; contribute to improving requirement quality by providing actionable feedback.
• Conduct regression testing, impact analysis, and ensure complete coverage of test cases.
• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and testing best practices across sprints.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Own and drive defects to resolution by working with developers and relevant teams.
• Provide accurate test status reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support release and deployment testing activities as needed.

Primary Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe Testing .
• Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language) .
• Strong working knowledge of DB2 databases.
• Experience in Batch job triaging and debugging .
• Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Secondary Skills :

• Exposure to Java-based applications or understanding of Java code for better collaboration with dev teams.
• Familiarity with Selenium or similar test automation tools.
• Understanding of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) practices.
• Experience in data migration testing, including data validation and reconciliation.

Good to Have Skills :

• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
• Experience in the Healthcare domain or knowledge of healthcare data standards.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in DevOps workflows.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is a plus.

Job Title: QA Engineer – Manual Testing (Mobile & Web Apps)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in manual testing of iOS , Android , and web applications . The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment, using basic tools like Excel for tracking and documentation, and demonstrates the ability to work independently, directly coordinating with developers without heavy reliance on formal QA tools or extensive project management support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze business requirements or feature descriptions to develop detailed and actionable test cases.
• Perform manual testing for web, iOS, and Android applications across various devices and browsers.
• Maintain test cases, track test execution, and log bugs and issues using Excel.
• Communicate directly with developers to reproduce issues, provide detailed reports, and verify fixes.
• Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, and smoke testing.
• Independently handle testing activities with minimal involvement from Business Analysts or Project Managers.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Murex Testing Lead - Perm or Contract

Location: Bangalore, India

Contract Type: Permanent OR Contract

We are seeking an experienced Murex Testing Lead to oversee the quality assurance and testing activities for Murex system implementations, upgrades, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and technical knowledge of the Murex platform, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of leading testing teams within complex trading or risk environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle across multiple Murex projects (System, Integration, Regression, and UAT).
• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and detailed test scripts aligned to project requirements.
• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure complete test coverage.
• Manage defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution through tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
• Validate data integrity and interface functionality between Murex and external systems (risk engines, market data, accounting).
• Support automation initiatives and continuous integration testing where applicable.
• Produce regular progress reports and maintain strong communication with project and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience testing or implementing Murex solutions.
• In-depth understanding of front-to-back trade flows , including Trading, Risk, Operations, and Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux , JIRA , Confluence , and HP ALM .
• Experience managing testing resources (onshore/offshore) and delivering under tight deadlines.
