Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Therapist located in Bengaluru. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children. They will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy sessions, and work with families to support a child’s development. The role involves collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and ongoing progress monitoring.

Qualifications

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s developmental needs.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to guide them on effective home-based support strategies.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other team members for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate therapy records and progress reports.
• Conduct group therapy sessions, workshops, and parent training when required.
• Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices in pediatric speech therapy.

Qualifications

• BASLP with minimum 3 years of experience , OR
• MASLP with 0–2 years of experience .
• Strong understanding of child development and pediatric communication disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with children and supporting their growth.

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and therapeutic methodologies.

• Provide empathetic and person-centered support to individuals with various mental health conditions via phone, video calls, and secure messaging platforms.
• Assist clients in developing and implementing personalized support plans tailored to their individual needs and goals.
• Offer emotional support, encouragement, and a non-judgmental listening ear.
• Facilitate therapeutic activities and skill-building exercises remotely.
• Monitor client well-being and report any concerns or significant changes to the clinical team.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with organizational policies and data protection regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including therapists and case managers.

• Previous experience in mental health support, counseling, or a related field.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• A diploma or degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related health or social care field is highly desirable.
• Certification in Mental Health First Aid or similar is a plus.
