**Job Description**
**A) GENERAL**
* Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team and shall lead a team
for set of projects.
* Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of
expertise.
* Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
* Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
* Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
* Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PL-FF package.
* Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
* Prepares technical specification sections.
* Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet
requirements.
* Represents company at Senior level before clients and stakeholders.
**JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PLUMBING SYSTEM DESIGN**
Design of Plumbing system shall consist of (but not limited to) the following -
+ Understanding and categorizing of project into type of Building as per National Building Code of India 2016.
+ Conceptualization of design theme.
+ Performing hydraulic calculations for determining the flowrates, head and pipe sizes for various systems under Plumbing.
+ Preparing Water demand calculations and Water Balance diagram.
+ Preparation of Design Basis Report for Plumbing System along with required drawings/sketches.
+ Estimating of Water storage / reserve to be planned. Deciding size and arrangement of U.G and O.H storage tanks. Planning of pump room with equipment, networking of pumps, piping, panel etc.
+ Preparation of Water supply & Drainage schematic.
+ Preparation of Schematic layouts for water supply, internal drainage, external drainage etc.
+ Estimation of Power demand for Plumbing system.
+ Preparation of Automation scheme for water tanks, deciding minimum I/Os required.
TENDER & PROCUMENT:
+ Preparation of Tender documents includes detailed Plumbing Layouts, Technical Specification, approved make List & BOQ for Tender enquiry.
+ Techno-Commercial Evaluation of different types of Plumbing equipment & selection of optimum solution in view of project requirement.
+ Preparation of block estimates based on available rates or through rate analysis.
+ Techno-Commercial Evaluation of technical bids.
+ Attending pre-bid meetings.
GOOD FOR CONSTRUCTION STAGE:
+ Preparation of Plumbing GFC layouts and sections.
+ Coordination of layouts with Architectural, Structural/Civil and other disciplines.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION:
+ Timely completing Vendor data reviews such as that of Shop Drawings, Product Submittals, GA Drawings etc., participating in discussion with Authorities, witnessing testing of equipment etc.
+ Attending meetings with Client or Client representatives as per decided schedule. Site visits as and when required.
DOCUMENTATION PROCESSES:
+ Actively coordinating with various disciplines such as Architecture, Civil, Structural etc.
+ Strictly adhering to company processes such as obtaining reviews from assigned experts, inter-disciplinary checks from various disciplines and clearances from discipline leaders.
IT/SOFTWARE SKILLS:
+ Proficiency in use of M.S office.
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD.
+ Knowledge and preferably experience on REVIT 3D.
**JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM DESIGN**
Design of Fire Fighting system consists of (but not limited to) the following -
+ Understanding and categorizing of project into applicable Class of Fire .
+ Conceptualization of design theme.
+ Preparation of Design Basis Report for Fire Fighting System along with required drawings/sketches.
+ Designing of Fire Fighting system and its equipment adhering to NBC/IS/NFPA norms or guidelines consisting of (but not limited to):
+ Hydraulic calculation of water flowrate required for effective Fire Fighting. Selection of Pump capacity accordingly.
+ Estimating of Water storage / reserve. Deciding size and arrangement of U.G and O.H storage tanks. Planning of Fire pump room, networking of pumps.
+ Preparation of Sprinkler system schematic layouts referring provisions given in standards.
+ Hydraulic design of Sprinkler system using Pipenet.
+ Preparation of Hydrants schematic layouts referring criteria given in standards.
+ Hydraulic design of Wet-riser network using Pipenet.
+ Design of Preaction system.
+ Design of Gas suppression system.
+ Selection and planning of Fire Extinguishers on layouts.
+ Planning, design and preparation of Water curtains for compartmentation.
+ Preparation of Schematic Fire fighting layouts & Fire SLD.
+ Gas suppression system.

+ Should have In depth knowledge of designing WWTP (ETP) for industrial/Residential/Commercial/Food industry/advanced manufacturing/Leather industry/Hotels/Hospitality/semi- conductor projects including recycling the effluent to process water using Zero Liquid Discharge processes.
+ Should have In depth knowledge of designing STP for industrial/Residential/Commercial/Food industry/advanced manufacturing/Leather industry/Hotels/Hospitality/semi- conductor projects including process for preliminary treatment for domestic water and in addition process water generation like soft water, RO water, DI/DM water, EDI, UPW etc.
IT/SOFTWARE SKILLS:
+ Use of Navisworks for review of Model.
+ Experience of working on Pipenet Spray/Sprinkler module.
+ Proficiency in use of M.S office.
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD.
